  1. It's Sunday night, and judging from the clock on my wall it's just about 9 pm which means I'm kind of behind schedule on my homework. Well, its not technically homework but rather the 'assignment' we're given after each day in the Literature Club. Writing a poem and bringing it to show off our writing skills to each other. To any normal person this would be a bit easier but to someone like me with little to no literary experience AT ALL, this is kind of tough. Most of my time is spent playing video games or reading manga anyways, and the girls don't look like they would be too interested in anything related to that. Well, anyone besides Natsuki that is...
  2.
  3. "Agh, why the hell is writing a poem so damn hard. Wish I could just come up with something from the top of my hea-"
  4.
  5. Wait. Wait just a damn second.
  6.
  7. What if I just use something from a video game? It's not like anyone would recognize it right away and I doubt anyone would look it up or anything like that. I know it kinda ruins the spirit of the whole 'write your own poem' thing but just once wouldn't hurt right? Smirking to myself I begin racking my brain for something that would fit, not looking too sophisticated or something so out of left field that it would be recognized as something else instantly. I do remember Yuri and I having a talk about life and the choices you can make at the last meeting we had so maybe something like that could work? Now what could reference life and destiny...?
  8.
  9. Fuck it, that works.
  10.
  11. Anon: 'Hey Sayori? You happen to have Yuri's number? I need her help with something related to my poem for tomorrow.'
  12.
  13. Sayori: 'Hey! You'll ask her but not me?'
  14.
  15. Uh oh. Looks like Sayori got a little offended by that, time for some damage control.
  16.
  17. A: 'You're my last resort since you know me best. I wanna ask her, and if she isn't as helpful as I though she would be I'll resort to you, my last line of defense between my poem and the club.'
  18.
  19. S: 'Awww Anon! You act like a meanie but you really do like when I help you! I'll send you her number now, let me know if she was able to help you at all!'
  20.
  21. Crisis averted at least for now, but why he hell did Sayori need to embarrass me like that? Sending back a quick thanks as a reply I received Yuri's number and thought over exactly how I would address our most sophisticated member in the club.
  22.
  23. A: 'Hello Yuri, it's Anon, from Literature Club? Sorry for texting you this late but I asked Sayori for your number since I wanted your opinion on the piece I was thinking about submitting to the club tomorrow. If you can help, just send me a reply back, and thanks.' Not even two minutes later my phone pinged and I received my reply.
  24.
  25. Yuri: 'Good evening Anon, I'd be happy to help you with any issues you have related to your poem. Care to send it now?'
  26.
  27. A: 'Ah, yeah sure just give me a moment.' I replied back. Looking up what I had in mind just so that I got it right.
  28.
  29. A: 'You are the ocean's gray waves
  30. Destined to to seek life beyond the shore, just out of reach
  31.
  32. Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time
  33. The path is yours to climb'
  34.
  35. Y: 'Interesting.'
  36.
  37. A: 'Hah, i wouldn't say it's too interesting honestly.'
  38.
  39. Y: 'Well I beg to differ. The meaning of the poem can change drastically depending on who is reading it. It causes a bit of an issue if the people react differently and start arguing.' Not quite understanding what she meant, I scratched the back of my head and sent her exactly what I thought.
  40.
  41. A: 'How exactly do you mean?'
  42.
  43. Y: 'Well, it depends on if you played either Birthright, or Conquest.'
  44.
  45. Y: 'Don't worry Anon, your secret is safe with me, but I would heavily suggest not using other media as the source for your poem. It would be fine as inspiration though. I actually have to begin writing my poem for tomorrow, good night. I hope I could be of assistance to you.'
  46.
  47. ...
  48.
  49. How in the?
  50.
  51. But she's not...
  52.
  53. "Fuck."
  54.
  55. This plan bombed. And now I'm sure Yuri will think less of me unless i come up with a poem on my own. Slamming my head down on my desk and groaning, I found it would be easier if i just stopped complaining and worked on an original poem for tomorrow. Besides...
  56.
  57. I blame Takumi for this.
