As Mokomoko said that, looking back, Tomochika turned to follow her gaze. Something enormous was floating in the water behind them. It was a strange-looking creature, with the body of a shark but arms like a human. There were also plenty of creatures with numerous tentacles, like squid or octopi, floating among the waves.

“Ohhh! It’s like a seafood buffet!” Tomochika remarked.

“Even the Dannoura School has little it can do on the open ocean. Without the boy, we would have been consumed long ago.”
