But it was the same old Grotsnik. He could’ve had Gork himself under his knife, and he still wouldn’t have cared for anything but his own nasty fancies. He did work keeping Ghazghkull’s head together, I won’t deny it. But I watched him. I watched him close. I watched him sprinkle stinging-gits on the Prophet’s exposed brain. I watched him poke bits of it with a dirty talon, just to see which bits of the Prophet twitched. I watched him leave a spanner inside the Prophet’s skull before sealing it closed again, and laughing to himself after. Which was fair, ’cos it was classic. But it weren’t right.
