<big><code>1 to 16:</code></big> grew up in london, england. lived with her parents and watched her mother try to save her father from his heavy addiction to a multitude of narcotics. he was extremely abusive to her mother, and sexually abused Clarissa at the age of eight. she is, without a doubt, scarred until this day. it's something she doesn't talk about openly with anyone but Felix. She developed body dysmorphia as a result and often self-harmed. <br><big><code>16 to 28:</code></big> moved to texas with her mother for a new beginning, after the death of her father. Clarissa quickly met Felix and the two had a undeniably fast-paced relationship, tying the knot at the age of 19 and 17 with her mother's consent. <bq>
<b>21. </b> marriage with Felix ends due to his abusive tendencies towards her, and the fact that she cheated on him because at this point, she could feel him detaching from her and craved the love of someone to feel validated. <br><b>23.</b> Clarissa began to self-harm once again, a coping mechanism for a failed marriage and emotionally scarred mentality. She loses her way, and briefly moves to Chicago where she meets long-term best friend Saskia Valen. After losing the love of her life and herself, she briefly becomes involved with a strip-club, completely wiping her identity and becoming a 'male fantasy figure'. <br><b>28.</b> Clarissa moves back to Texas, this time in her own apartment, and finds solace in her friendship with Isabella Hall. She leaves her life in Chicago behind, but is completely terrified when one of her 'client's tracks her down and pays a visit to her apartment. She calls Felix, there's now blood on his hands and it's all her fault. They stop talking again. <br><b>29.</b> Clarissa moves to Los Angeles. finds a job as a waitress, generic, but the last few years have been hard enough, she craves simplicity while studying for her nursing degree. She ends up becoming dependent on alcohol, another backsliding habit and excessively begins to text/harass Felix in an attempt to rekindle their romance and loses her job. </bq>

<big><code>30 to 34:</code></big> Clarissa is finally drinking less, she's a little more herself than before and finds a new job as a junior nurse. <bq>
<b>31.</b> She reaches out to Isabella often to get updates on Felix's 'condition'.</bq>

<big><code>32:</code></big> Clarissa finally makes a real, face-to-face attempt to fight for Felix. They get back together briefly, but he hasn't changed for the better and his abusive tendencies only get worse. Despite breaking up for the second time, Clarissa refuses to give up on and the two stay close. She is her mother's daughter and feels responsible for helping him get better, despite dealing with her own downfalls.<br><big><code>cut to present:</code></big> She still lives alone and is trying, once again, to rekindle her relationship with Felix. However, they are both different people now, a little more broken, a lot more damaged. Two broken people trying to heal each other doesn't tend to end well.  </small></div>
