Deul Lae is used to be a polite and quiet girl. She took everything people threw at her and never complained. After a while she snapped. Now she's a rebellious girl. It's not like she isn't still a nice person, she just isn't like she was before. She takes every opportunity to live her life as much as she can. She is reckless and hyper all the time. She loves trying new things and is the definition of YOLO. She's constantly curious and acts like a child. She daydreams all the time, her head has a permanent place in the clouds. Deul Lae is extremely smart due to her parents wanting her to be the top of her class. She has the worst aegyo on the planet, but she's naturally adorable. She's a huge nerd who if she isn't doing something stupid, is reading about all the things that interest her. She's developed tough skin and a hard head. She's extremely stubborn and persistent, which also makes her good at arguing. She always has her facts straight.
✿ | BACKGROUND : [have a remote problem in it] Deul Lae's parents had her and her older sister very young. They had married against their family's wishes and moved far from them. They weren't quite sure what was safe for their children, so forbade them from doing anything remotely "fun" after Soobin hit her head ice skating. Deul Lae and Soobin were very sheltered and innocent. Unlike their classmates, they couldn't play sports. Even though they begged, their parents always said no. In school, they were pulled out of class whenever they learned about war and never had "the talk". In middle school, Deul Lae told her mom that a boy had asked her to be their friend and her mom did a 2 week long background check before she could let her even talk to him. In high school Deul Lae and Soobin had to stay home during school dances and weren't allowed to have male partners for projects. They couldn't go to any games to support their school because of how much their parents feared them getting hurt. They weren't allowed to put on makeup or wear shorts that didn't go to their knees. At important functions, they were expected to act ladylike and to do everything they were told to do; even if they didn't know the person. At home, their father got very into gender roles and got mad when they weren't in the kitchen and making a meal, cleaning, or doing things for Despite all the things they had to do, they still had each other and confided in each other more than anything. In high school, Deul Lae secretly did everything her parents told her not to. She skateboarded everyday, and snuck out to games, she watched PG-13 movies (finally), and wore short shorts. She stopped caring about her parents' opinions and did what made her happy. When her parents found out, it was too late, she had already graduated and left the house. Unfortunately, Soobin wasn't able to do the same.
