[EDGE] will also be driving for the server every wednesday at 6PM server time! Be sure to come along to teamspeak (northernshiverpeaks.org) and roll with us. Please stand next to your profession type at EB spawn for party sorting.

Cutting Edge [EDGE] is looking for competitive players interested in 15-25 man WvW/GvG/zergbusting and who are willing to learn, twist their builds/playstyles/characters to fit the role of a small guild zerg bust.

If any of the following videos makes you anxious to learn more, if you see yourself on the edge of your seat thinking "they should static now!" or "their condi's are running high, maybe they should...", or "that group keeps doing this thing, what if they tried that maneuver?" or anything of the like, please notify the leaders of Cutting Edge (Is X, Xxel, Vespin Zergbuster, King Shiny) as this may be exactly what you're after.

Be warned, this is not about bag farming, numbers, being the best dueler, "winning the game", creating an ego, or anything like that. The people we at [EDGE] are after have to be willing to learn, willing to explore their class, willing to explore other classes, willing to learn how to best utilise their class, willing to learn strengths and weaknesses, willing to synergise with what ever other class on offer, willing to listen to other players inputs, willing to submit input. You have to be willing to evolve with the group, as the group evolves.

This is not about hard core WvW or MLG, the leaders of [EDGE] are the most chill players in the game, but we are all willing to put our A into G and get onto the Cutting Edge of where competitive WvW is in Guildwars 2. Essentially, Cutting Edge will be a group of players who love Guildwars 2 game play and want to take it to the next level, or already have taken it to the next level and would love to share their experience with like minded players to bounce ideas off of each other and grow a tight community of epic proportions.

One thing we do not want, is players who, while they may have the skill, have the wrong attitude. I personally remember a commander on my old server Sorrows Furnace (Lord Kael) coming out of the woods and leading us to victory via busting zergs. From him, I learnt everything, purely because I had the passion to learn. He taught me combo fields, stat caps, good stat combinations, while I took that and showed him the extreme of what my character could do given what he had taught me. [EDGE] is looking for these types of people, people willing to teach and people willing to be taught.

Skill can be learnt, attitude not so much. Come with the right attitude, convince us that you are wanting to learn and develop, and you're in! We won't require you to rep 100%, only during our raid times. We are looking for reliability, so during raid times you will need to be reliable and present. Outside of raid hours, do what ever you want, just maintain a good image. It may be beneficial to practice moves and skills with others in the guild in the off times, so always feel free to message anyone else in [EDGE] for anything.

As of 19th of May, our roster has exploded with interest, and a proposed secondary guild Cutting Edge Academy will be created for anyone else who is still interested but can't make the Cutting Edge roster, so do not fear being left out, this guild is for anyone with the right mindset.

Because some of the builds are expensive, we will do our best to help fund you your gear (strength runes, for instance)

Our raid times are:(server time):

Tuesdays at 6:00 PM: Guild Training + Raid

Wednesdays at 6:00 PM: Server-wide Guild Training + Raid

Thursdays at 6:00 PM: Server-wide EotM Night

Saturdays at 6:00 PM: Guild Training + Raid
So anyone not in [EDGE] can feel free to come along on a wednesday to the server teamspeak (northernshiverpeaks.org) to run with us and get a feel for what we do. This would be a good time for anyone who has any interest in zerg busting and GvG.
