  1. So there's multiple ways to strip someone of force powers, some are limited to light side users used upon dark siders, others used by the Sith Emperor. Ima jump off the sith emperor ones.
  2.
  3. So like a bazillion years ago, some point during the old republic most like, a consular by the name Simeste Mordimm began researching the emperor's powers. He had gained his near immortality by absorbing the power of an entire planet using a sith ritual, but at the end of his life could have repeated to process and have affected the entire galaxy, stripping it of its connection to the force. Informing the Jedi Council of her discovery she was told to cease her research and move on to other things, which she did regretfully. Her research was deemed too dangerous by the council, was split into four, and each piece was sent to a different jedi temple for safe keeping; Alaris Prime, Tython, Ilum, and Dathomir (maybe?)
  4. Mordimm lived on to earn the rank of Master and have a distinguished career as a consular. After her death her likeness and personality was used as holocron curators of jedi libraries and knowledge stores. Much of her own research was kept in these libraries, including the work she never finished.
  5.
  6. Jump forward a bazillion years, maybe 20-30 years prior to the clone wars. An unnamed jedi found himself exploring the ruins of Tython with his R3 unit, Wires. During his exploration he encountered an ancient library curated by a holocron representation of an old republic consular. This curator claimed the library was incomplete, and that much could be learned if it was. She gave him three other planets to visit to find the rest of her work. He downloaded the locations into Wires, but at some point during his exploring the temple complex became unstable and started to collapse. Wires had difficulty moving over the rough terrain and caused jedi to delay take-off, this proved to be the cause of his death as the roof caved in on top of him and his ship, leaving Wires alone. Wires' batteries eventually ran flat and he powered down :(
  7.
  8. Sometime after, 5 or 6 years after Order 66, a survivor of the jedi purge (A PC) found Wires, powered it up and welcomed it aboard his ship with his other friends. Wires joined them, but was afraid of ever leaving the ship afterwards. Wires was also very defensive of its memory, zap prodding anyone who attempted to power it down.
  9.
  10. Jump ahead a couple more years, 9 or so years after Order 66. The group of survivors (The PC's) and Wires find themselves coincidentally investigating Alaris Prime, hoping to find insight into creating their own lightsabers. Wires' sensors react to the long stored information that Alaris Prime is important and charges off the ship to the surprise of his friends.
  11.
  12. After exploring the ruins the group powers up and meets the holocron who introduces herself as Simeste Mordimm. She helps them through the process of creating their first lightsaber crystals but also tells them that her records are incomplete. Some is corrupted due to age, but others were wilfully excluded. Good thing she knows the locations.
  13.
  14. So jump back maybe a year or two. Gathus Zieg, a former jedi knight, wandered the galaxy. He had escaped the purge, but sustained a head injury which left him badly scared and slightly unhinged.
  15. “The Jedi fought the Sith to maintain the balance of the Force. The Sith sought personal power, but created immense unrest each time the balance was disturbed. All things must be in balance for life to continue and not fall to evil.”
  16. Zieg fled to Ilum and the safety of its ice temple. There he also met Mordimm and learned of her incomplete work. Zieg poured over the libraries, having little else to do in his seclusion, and learned of Mordimm's work with the ancient Sith Emperor's power to sever the force from life. Zieg became transfixed. If he could seal the powers of the force away from the rest of the galaxy it could never again be disturbed by the imbalances of Jedi and Sith both.
  17.
  18. Zieg works to finding the rest of Mordimm's research. He takes three apprentices to train and to assist him;
  19. First was Dask'icet'cocogu or Dask, a Chiss Imperial Officer stationed above Ilum. He is smart, cool headed, and an expert planner. He manages to pull sway within the Imperial ranks far above his modest station through controlling blackmail and skillful career destruction of others.
  20. Next, Tigress, a Nagai bounty hunter. Found while she pursued another force user. She was a tenacious combatant and a skilled pilot.
  21. Finally Zisk Fen'qure. A Bothan slicer Zisk managed to acquire ships, weapons, credentials, visas, anything to assist his master.
  22.
  23. The two parties first meet on Alaris Prime. At that point in time Zieg's party has two pieces of Mordimm's puzzle (Ilum and Alaris) and the jedi group is just discovering Mordimm for the first time.
  24.
  25. The holocron Mordimm continues to encourage both parties to complete her collection, she only wishes for it to no longer be separated.
  26. "It was important to me in life, and gave my living self much grief to see it divided. She would be further saddened to see how it has degraded with time. It would be very difficult for me to list every facet of what these libraries contain, their content is too broad, but I can say they would most certainly assit lost younglings such as yourselves to learn the ways of the force and the mysteries of the galaxy itself"
