  1. Izora, a moderately sized, water-bound continent; resides deep within the waters of the forgotten realms; jagged seas and harsh waves surrounding the island. Treacherous and varied terrain, including mountains all throughout the north, plain, rocky grassland throughout, an expansive and dense desert to the east, with forests and swampland sprinkled all over.
  2.
  3. Many races and creatures inhabit the island, mostly staying within its borders due to the extremely rough waters. The rocky and mountainous terrain makes made very difficult for the people and creatures of Izora to farm resources and feed themselves properly. Due to this, many of them resorted to stealing from others, which eventually brought the continent into a full-on war phase, with people being very protective and damaging to the land, making matters worse.
  4. This great depressive state brought many people to turn to the Gods for assistance. In some cases, for the means to survive, and others, the means to have power. With enough worshipers, people, even those who weren’t clerics, began to make direct contact with them. Over time, the towns and villages began to centre around these Gods, which strengthened their connection further. The gods began to give them gifts; lush farmland – knowledge about the arcane arts, and the dark arts of deception and illusion. Some of the Gods pushed their people into keeping to themselves, – some of their Gods taught their people to steal and ravage – and they did this to protect the nature and land that was so dear to them.
  5. In the present day, a few alliances have been made between similar gods, creating larger cities. They live and strive around their god, trading resources around allied villages; and everything has become peaceful. 50 years after the war, and 40 years after the Gods were first contacted, many towns and villages have adopted shrines from other Gods, but regular people are unable to make contact with Gods unless they go to their most worshiped shrine, which is almost always in the centre of that respective town or city. With the aid of the Gods, monsters and creatures have been suppressed into the underground and into the mountains, creating a very peaceful life for all the people of Izora. However, there is still tension, with many active fronts of war and thievery present and known.
  6. The two major powers in Izora are the Swords of Justice, and the Black Hand of Beshaba; ruling over the City of Valorsworn, and the City of Irkalla respectively. The City of Valorsworn promotes justice, equality, and self-preservation, following the teachings of Tyr, God of Justice, and dictates most of the laws that govern the towns that surround it. the City of Irkalla is an empire of cultists and thieves, worshiping Beshaba, Goddess of Misfortune and utilizing her powers to free themselves from misfortune. They have few laws, but those that they have set are followed by most of the towns and encampments around them. There are many other settlements and towns that don’t obey either of these powers, having their own systems and government. The most widely accepted currency is gold, silver, and copper coins, but some distant towns use other forms of currency.
  7. Ymaug, a traveling cleric, finds Alyrena preforming in a tavern. After the show, he sees that she alone, and asks her if she wants to travel with him. They begin traveling together. Myriam, a Dryad, was spotted in a town stealing food by Ranitun, then transforming into a tree to differ the shop keep. Seeing her potential, he asked her if she wanted to travel with him.
  8. Inside a tavern in West-Valorsworn, Ranitun and Myriam plan a heist upon the town of Mournstead, the main producer of expensive and prestigious instruments. They notice the big dragon man inside the tavern, and realize they aren’t very strong, and confront him. He tells of girl who is gathering a lot of money with the performance, and all four of them decide to do the heist together. The face, Alyrena, the brawn, Ymaug, the brains, Myriam, and the eyes, Ranitun. They decide to travel to Myrefall, the town of Orgma, God of Knowledge; seeking information for the heist.
