"Hey!!! Would you mind giving me a hand, by helping me load these 50 or so arms full of our tools back into our truck, which just so happens to be thirty flights of stairs down? And you know the elevator is out of order!" screamed an exhausted business partner to his other equal business partner at the end of a 7 hour day.

"Why on earth would I want to do that?" questioned the other equal business partner, with a very puzzled look on his face. "I don't recall me unloading any of them and I sure don't recall me bringing any of them up here to begin with, so why would I want to load something that I didn't help unload in the first place? How fair is that? Quit trying to take advantage of me all the time. We're supposed to be 50-50 equal partners, or have you forgotten? And besides...we had to work an extra 3 hours today, because the tools you needed to perform the work weren't unloaded and brought up yet. We started at 8AM, and it was 12 PM when you finally got all the tools up here. Then you had the audacity to want to take a break and expect me to start working without you. I'm still upset about that. I had to start off by taking an extra long 3 hour coffee break, right up until our usual hour long lunch because of it. If anything, before we do the usual 50-50 split, you first need to pay me 3 hours off the top. And just because you brought up the tools that I needed to work first, it would have hardly been fair for me to start working before you started, and you know it! For that you owe me 3 hours off the top, because I had to wait for you before we could start working. If we're going to remain 50-50 partners, then let's at least make an effort to be fair and reasonable about things. Geeeeesh!!!!"
