4000 years ago, the separation of magic occured. First it split into two; Nature and Occult. Then, the great Phylmon War occured on the central continent, Phylm (Film), a war so destructive it spilt the continent into two halves. Thus was the creation of the two major continents present now: Syelka and Vkelssen (Kelsin). 600 years after that, several ice blocks began to clump together on the southern part of the world, forming an ice continent as well as revealing land masses with high enough elavation. Thus the birth of 3 new continents; Nuropia, Fellin and Blumgen. 2000 years have passed since the formation of the 5 continents and trouble was brewing. The Philosopher's War occured soon after the Nuropia campaigh, done by the people of Vkelssen. This was a 400 year war which further split the major continents, as well as it's cultures and the way it practices it's magic. Nuropia joined in alliance with Syelka and Fellin joined the campaign of Vkelssen. Blumgen was still inhabited at this point.

Vkelssen, a land of metal and marble, practiced Idea Realization as it's core magic. It's main principle is selfness, and as such, a single person can only have a one mastery. However within the mastery encompasses all functions, and if the user is skilled enough, it becomes indistiguishable from those with multi-capabilities. When Fellin came, it was mostly settlers from Vkelssen that was in it, however, the land was entire different of that from Vkelssen. Magic and Mana were distrupted in Fellin and unless a person is born with the inherent capabilities, no one was able to utilize the magic of Vkelssen. As such, they created a system, a subdivision of the Vkelssen discipline that allows them to use magic themselves, with the help of various items.
Syelka, a land filled with nature, practiced Phenomenon Recapture as it's core magic. It's main principle is the world, and as such, anyone with the requirements needed can weild their magic. Unlike Idea Realization, Phenomenon Racapture is as it's name says, a recollection of events past. They utilize miracles, unexplainable phenomenons that occur within the world, caused by the world, effected by the world and recreates it. The main goal of this magic is to forge a path towards the origin of such events. Since such events are incomprehensible to humans, attaining it grants a person magic beyond this world, creating miracles themselves.

Nuropia, while closely following Syelka's magic, created the technique now know as alchemy. Alchemy, in it's base form is the transmutation of materials. However, advancement in it's usage proved that Alchemy in itself could create miracles. One such example is the creation of the Philosopher's stone. This stone stored enough magic that it in itself has the magic of an entire world, such power was hidden under the guise of a stone that could only make simple metals into gold and nothing more, however, Oracles sent by Vkelssen revealed it as something more, something inexplainable, of which caused the Vkelssen campaign and the Philosopher's war.
