- I firmly recommend the game 'Journey' if you like the Aria manga. You might have noticed how in most of the chapters, Amano uses a definite technique: to make Neo-Venezia truly awe-inspiring, she uses an elaborate panel, spread on two pages, with a dynamic angle, a 'panoramic shot' and to emphasise how overwhelming the surroundings are, the characters are usually present in the shot composition, but drawn small, and seldom in the centre of the panel. This is how Amano magnifies her already brilliant art.
- Well, Journey is very similar. The backgrounds and play of light are already mind-blowing by themselves, but the creators really know how to magnify them, by using very cinematographic methods. Repeatedly, whilst playing, the camera will naturally take a position so as to render a specific shot composed with meticulous care, depicting the setting in the very best possible manner.
