  1. >Hello & welcome to a new series – I want to cover some Let’s Go content as I’ve been surprised about how much I enjoy the game and how much there is to do! But I will not lose my usual content either! I’d really appreciate a like as this is new content and it will help get this out there and tell me you guys are into it!
  2. >I want to talk about everything you need to know about the Pokemon in Let’s Go and we will start at the beginning with one of the original R/B starters and my favourite, Squirtle, its evo Wartortle and final stage Blastoise.
  3. >I’ll consider where to find and how best to combo to get your super strong/shiny
  4. > I’ll also look at potential movesets for in game and for vs. other players/competitive
  5. >So where to find? You can get gifted one by talking to a policewoman in Cerulean. She then goes to Vermilion and gives you your own squirtle! Great!
  6. >But what about comboing for IVs/shiny? Well this is actually a really tough Pokemon to do. It can be found rarely on route 24/5 and also in Seafoam Islands at a much higher level. To get one to spawn on the early routes, you may need to combo a different Pokemon which increases your chances of encountering a Squirtle. An easier way may be to get a small chain in Seafoam (though this is tough because they are tricky and run often!). Once you have your chain, try for the easier durdz in the early routes. You will need to pop a lure and use those Ultras! Best of luck!
  7. >So how best to use it? First in-game.
  8. This family is bulkiest, good for tanking hits and hitting back. Water typing allows few weaknesses and good resistances. Solid pokemon throughout the game. Blastoise really likes Scald which you get as a TM from Misty. Ice Beam is also useful to hit grass types, find it in Seafoam Islands. Dark Pulse is another coverage move, then you could have EQ/Façade or whatever!
  9. >What about competitively?
  10. Mega Blastoise is different – even bulkier, but now with an incredible SpA to boast. This guy is viable in competitive and can be run in a few different ways. I like Timid nature for most sets because it has a middling speed tier blah blah blah.
  11. All out offensive (consider Modest) (better without candy)
  12. Hydro/Scald/Ice Beam/Dark Pulse
  13. Tank (better with candy)
  14. Scald/Ice Beam/Dragon Tail/Toxic or Rest or Dark Pulse <- I really enjoy this set!
  15. There are some stronger mega choices out there, but still very reliable and a threat! I love using this reptilian beast and I hope you will too!
  16. Please let me know what you think of Blastoise and also what you thought of this video. Was it helpful? Was it enjoyable? Get in that comments section! And don’t forget to leave a like if you did enjoy. Outro
