#PastebinMonday 02/20/2023 OBS Advanced Scene Switching Edition

'Sup, doods!

I am hoping to not spend too much time having fun with an OBS plugin called Advanced Scene Switcher. I hadn't really kept in mind just how many things in the tournament layout I have to adjust and switch between matches. Honestly, making sure the text and images are set correctly takes up most of the setup time within tournament broadcasts. Turns out that you can automate a whole bunch of that so long as you set the proper conditions for each change. I think most of my week is going to be taken up tinkering with this plugin. Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #1A: finalize broadcast layouts for the upcoming Tetris Attack tournament. Please DO NOT open up a YouTube page under ANY circumstances. God damnit, Cards, just get this shit done! I simply need to re-record the tutorial video, tweak graphics for best of 3 matches and insert the qualifying / group race scene to have this in a finished state. Then I'll finish my tweaks with the OBS scene switching plugin and give people an opportunity to train with it.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Maybe I do that part on stream? I still have not ruled that out. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. I definitely will NOT be able to do that on stream. I don't know if I can work on any of this during the tournament.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.


Certainly more people will want to train for the tournament this Friday, right? Right?
