  1. Covet: -Cadence was curled up on the couch. A trashcan of tissues sitting next to the couch. Both of the cats were with her, curled up near by. She just looked generally miserable while she streamed music on youtube on her TV. -
  2. Tsaaq: Jacqueline walked down the hallway with her cellphone to her ear. "I know, I know. But let me just talk to her. See if she thinks it's a good idea. Everything has to be played by ear." She murmured. "Okay shut up. I'm here. I love you too. Bye babe." Jacqueline hung up on her husband and knocked loudly on the door.
  3. Covet: -Cadence looked at the door and furrowed her brow, not expecting anyone to show up tonight. She climbed of the couch and tried to compose herself before answering the door. She was kind of shocked to see Jacque there.- Hi, Uh...come on in. Don't mind the mess. -she tucked her hair behind her ear and tried to give her a smile-
  4. Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't mind any messes." Jacqueline said quietly as she stepped inside. "I know it's weird I'm here but I had an idea and I just needed a second opinion. Sasha, he's being an ass. He wants to do everything his way right now." She rolled her eyes a moment and dragged her feet towards the couch in the living room.
  5. Covet: Oh, no...not as weird as you might think. -She said sniffling a bit- I am happy to listen and give my opinion. -Cadence said nodding her head- Uh, can I get you anything? we've got water and juice in the fridge....-Cadence offered trying to be a good houseguest- I talked to him a little bit today. Text messages. It could have gone better. I think I know where Remy gets his stubborness. -She said with a slight smile-
  6. Covet: *host not house guest. Derp.
  7. Tsaaq: "Unless it's a glass of wine I don't really want anything. And I really shouldn't drink anything whatsoever." Jacqueline replied and went to sit down. "Ugh, don't even get me started." She waved her hand at Cadence. "Talking to him does nothing. Remy always knew he was smart so he never wants to listen to any one about anything. He thinks almost everyone is an idiot. He's like me." Jacqueline explained. "But at any rate, I think a intervention is what we need to do."
  8. Covet: I mean, I can do that too. But I understand, if you change your mind. Happy to get it. -Cadence walked over at sat down on the couch leaving some space between them. She gave a half smile as she listened to her, nodding her head in agreement.- I'm in. He's being stubborn as all fuck right now about it... He doesn't see what he's doing wrong.
  9. Tsaaq: She shook her head. "I'm really looking forward to getting my year of sobriety chip. It's fine." She told Cadence then slumped forward. "Exactly. Sasha is going to miss a lot of work unfortunately... That's the only shitty part about it. I don't know. Maybe I can pick up something out here while we're trying to work something out? God, I haven't worked in almost twenty years." She whispered with a bit of a horrified expression.
  10. Covet: Oh, right. I didn't even think... Sorry. -Cadence said giving her a sheepish look.- If there's anything you guys need, while your here... or at all , really, I'm happy to help out. This situation is stressful all on it's own, with out the added stress of finances. -Cadence told her, being completely sincere- What kind of work did you used to do? If you don't mind me asking? -she asked pulling her legs up, resting her head on her knees-
  11. Tsaaq: Jacqueline scrunched up her face while trying to remember since is was so long. "I worked in a supermarket?" She replied with her eyebrows furrowed. "I wasn't very ambitious." Jacqueline shook her head.
  12. Covet: Hey, a job is a job. I haven't worked in a couple of years. But I used to model... in highschool and my freshmen year here. As glamerous as it was, it wasn't really fuffilling work to just be a walking mannequin. -Cadence said with a shrug then got kind of silent- So how do we want to go about this intervention?
  13. Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Well you're a pretty girl, it makes sense." Jacqueline said quietly. "I was in school for nuero science but we all know how that went." She shrugged her shoulders. "Well I will figure it out the way I've figured everything out in my life. By googling it." Jacque answered and pulled out her phone.
  14. Covet: I wanted to be more than that... I guess. -Cadence shrugged- I ended up changing my major from undecided to Psychology. I want to focus in counseling. However... all of this... kind of has me rethinking that whole process. -Cadence scrunched up her face, then glanced over at Jacque- You know.. It's never too late to go back... I mean. Even if it's not neuro science... If it's something that you are still passionate about. -she said trying not to feel awkward in the moment- I've only ever done one intervention, here actually. It could have gone better. She stormed out ...
  15. Tsaaq: "Well my experience is, life it too short and if you want to do something you might as well do it now because you don't even know if you'll wake up tomorrow." Jacqueline said. "I could go back to school, but both of my kids are in school. And what would I do? I have to think about their needs for at least a little longer." She explained. "So apparently we have to get a drug counseling specialist, get a group together. Rehearse, set a date. Pick a place that wouldn't agitate him..." Jacque listed.
  16. Covet: I understand. -she said nodding her head- I like that outlook. It's simple. Okay. Well drug counselling specialist I know one... As for people for a group. He's got a teacher he's close to. You, Sasha, Hayley. Me... Steph, Uh His bandmates. -She tried thinking- As for a place... That's a hard one. Maybe here? The hotel?
  17. Tsaaq: Jacque stared at the phone screen a moment then looked over to Cadence. "Are you absolutely sure? It says here not to allow people he dislikes, or someone who has their own untreated whatever, or would do something to make the intervention more like a fight rather than people trying to get through to him." She asked before skimming the page, and getting into details. "There's a bunch of other things that make sense... Like not doing it spur in the moment. And researching the addiction. And I don't think here is good. You have a roommate don't you?"
  18. Covet: Yeah and he's not her biggest fan. So definitely not here. It's hard for me to think of people that could be there without it becoming a fight. -Cadence said, chewing on the inside of her lip- I've been doing research... I can still do more though.
  19. Tsaaq: "Well you have to think seriously about who would be helpful and who wouldn't. Who cares enough about his well being to restrain themselves and who doesn't." Jacqueline explained. "The last thing we want to do is make him angry and not want to listen. Perhaps we could go to some place with pizza? Rent a room and order pizza. We also can't invite anyone who has encouraged his addiction in any way."
  20. Covet: Okay. I'll get back to you on that list of people. -Cadence nodded her head- Yeah. Pizza would be good. Uh... yeah.. nobody who's encouraged... him. -She looked down, immediately feeling guilty and overwhelmed-
  21. Tsaaq: Jacque sucked her teeth while thinking. "He just dislikes so many people so it's hard to think of a place besides home." She sighed. "I think I'll tell his cousin Eugene to come. He's never been anything but a sweetheart and he looks up to Remy so much, bless his awkward little heart. Not his other cousins. Jesus fucking Christ. If they showed up?" Jacque made an upset face. "Neither of his grandparents either... Are you arlight?"
  22. Covet: Eugene could be good. He's a little awkard, but it's sweet. -Cadence nodded trying to push back her thoughts. She felt her phone go off, reading the message she frowned as she responded- I... I don't know what I am right now...to be honest. -She said swallowing hard-
  23. Tsaaq: "Should I leave you alone and come back another time?" Jacque asked carefully, her voice monotone as she pushed her glasses up her nose.
  24. Covet: Uh...I don't know. Maybe that'd be good yeah. I've got a lot to think about. -She said trying to keep it together.- Do you want to get together tomorrow? I can figure out more of this stuff to put it together. -Cadence said taking a deep breath-
  25. Tsaaq: She nodded and reluctantly pushed up from the couch, groaning as she rubbed her stomach. "Yeah... I have to talk to Sha." Jacqueline muttered before yawning. "We can do the thing. Try to do it soon but not too soon. All that shit." She put crossed her arms, completely oblvious to whatever had been going on with Cadence.
  26. Covet: Alright...What about Sunday? -She asked- We might be able to get things set up correctly by then. Or is that too soon? -she asked unsure. Cadence got up and started to make her way to the door. But she was hesitating- I can help put it all together. But....-she trailed off.- I...I don't think I can go to it...I don't think I meet the requirements.
  27. Tsaaq: "Definitely too soon. But I appreciate the enthusiasm. I still haven't spoken to my daughter since I got here. She seemed a little scatter brained. Oh god, I hope she's not on drugs too." Jacque said sluggishly, dragging her hand down her face. She furrowed her eyebrows and turned to Cadence. "Why would you say that?" She asked, clearly confused.
  28. Covet: No.. no she's not on drugs. Adam is missing...she hasn't heard from him -she said sucking in her breath- Because... I had him pick up some drugs for me.. to do something bad. I didn't take them... But it was still really bad. and I think he kept some...I encouraged that behavior...I can't go... I can't help him. I can't help... -Cadence said starting to pace, and not hyperventilate-
  29. Tsaaq: Jacque's eyes widened. "Okay, one. Don't tell Sasha because Jesus fucking Christ." She said softly. "Did they find him?" Jacqueline went silent and stared at Cadence, looking very disappointed. She shook her head slowly. "Just breathe." She told her, despite being livid now.
  30. Covet: No, not when I last talked to her. I went out with her, trying to find him. She's been out looking with his brother. -Cadence was trying to breath, but it was hard especially after she saw that look of disappointment.- It was irrational...and stupid and he said he would be fine with it....and I believed him. There was stuff going on with me...and I can't help any of it.
  31. Tsaaq: She frowned and glared at Cadence a moment. "It's fine, people make mistakes." She said, though she sounded more stern than anything. "I'll talk to you tomorrow. Don't beat yourself up about it." Jacque said, mostly fleeing because every instinct was telling her to beat Cadence's ass.
  32. Covet: -Cadence felt her phone go off again and pulled it out. She stopped dead in her tracks and responded, grabbing Jacque's arm, the color completely drained from her face- We have to go....We have to go now...-Her hand was shaking- Remy's in a really bad way...-she handed her phone over to Jacque, because she couldn't talk-
  33. Tsaaq: "What?" Jacqueline furrowed her eyebrows and looked down at Cadence, seeing her expression. "What's wrong?" She felt her heart drop into the pit of her stomach. "Who is this? Are they there already?" Jacque asked as she went to walk to the door and out into the hallway, breaking into a run.
  34. Covet: That's Bliss... I don't know. -she said grabbing her keys on the way out and nothing else. She ran after Jacque wishing that the elevator went faster as she slammed her fingers into the buttons.-
  35. Tsaaq: She shifted from foot to foot. "Where the fuck is this thing?" She asked loudly, she herself started to hyperventilate and punched a wall to fight whatever tears threatened her eyelids. "What is wrong with you? Who asks a recovering drug addict to buy you drugs? What part of you thought that that was ever okay? I want to fucking know. Because my only son is going to die." Jacqueline shouted, hearing the elevator finally arrive she stepped on.
  36. Covet: I'll take you there. I promise. We'll get there. -she told her, completely shocked and like everything was just imploding.- I don't know... I don't know. It was stupid. I asked myself that same question... after the fact...I wasn't right... in my head...I don't have an excuse, or a good enough reason. Because it was dumb. I'm an idiot and I completely fucked up. -She said when the elevator opened she took off out the door to her vehicle-
  37. Tsaaq: "Yeah no fucking shit." Jacque shouted. "Everything in me is telling me to kick your ass but I can't. And I won't because I have priorities! And I will mantain them." She stormed off the car and hurriedly tried to open the door and get inside.
  38. Covet: I will happily let you kick my ass when this is all said and done, because I clearly deserve it. -She said waiting for Jacque to get in before she pulled out and took off like a bat out of hell towards Talon. Screaming at people who got in her way the whole way there.-
