- [21:41] Due to her work the other day, Fen was already well on his way to his circuits being entirely cleansed of occultic magic. Now, came the hard part. The supposed hard part anyway. She reached out, placing her hand upon his head solidly just as she had done last time. Thumb firmly upon his forehead, while her index and pinky were on each temple.
- Using Illusion magic, the Neries would not feel an ounce of pain, as the Kitsune employed the use of the runic circle tattoos cleverly hidden beneath the main tattoo. Having completed a proper mental map of his mana circuitry during the first session, she pinpointed each circuit that governed corrupt mana, and flushed his system with fire magic to burn away at them. While ordinarily this would hurt quite a lot, Reito's method made it where the patient felt none.
- They were lucky!
- She worked to properly burn a hole into Fen's circuits where the Occult magic stayed. Normally he would have felt this on both his head and the circuitry itself but... She stopped that. Sure, a small burn mark may be on his head where the contact with her hand was but it only stung and would no doubt heal naturally over time. She spent some time burning away the bits of circuitry as she needed to, quiet all the while. Even Constantin directly outside, giggling as he always did, did not distract her.

- [21:49] Due to the last session Fen knew what to expect. . . Sort of. At-least enough not to panic. He knew this next part didn't involve any pain. Which didn't matter as much to the man as it might for others.
- After all he'd reveled in pain for years. Glorified in it even. Though what could you expect from such a man?
- There was no sense of pain washing over his body. Yet, he did feel the warmth coming off the Kitsune. For a brief second he almost jumped up to get away. Old and new fears kicking in.
- However, he was nothing if not composed. At-least, at the moment. He'd simply clench his fists a bit harder, his claw-like nails drawing some blood from his palms.
- He hoped that with the Occultism cleansed he'd have less bouts of fear like this. However, something told him not to hold his breath.

- [22:12] Even if he knew what to expect externally... He didn't quite know what to expect when he was a patient, and not just an observer. Once the circuits were properly burned through, Reito worked to essentially flood the Neries' circuitry system with cosmic mana. She directed the mana to the holes burned into his circuits, forcing her own cosmic mana in.
- The swathes of cosmic mana she had introduced during that previous first session easily worked to strengthened the cosmic mana she was pumping into his system now, bolstering it. Now, once she was confident, the Kitsune worked to "grasp" the occult mana and entangle it within her own cosmic mana.
- At this point, it was a battle for dominance... And Reito would easily win, given the state she had left Fen in. Her cosmic mana, in a way, had a near deathgrip upon his own occult mana, and now... She aimed to extract it. The mana itself she was pulling out of the Neries had to go somewhere and where it ended up was left a mystery to all those present, Fen included. As Reito moved to pull it out alongside her cosmic mana, every trace of it went into the runic circles tattooed and cleverly hidden by the more intricate and artistic design.
- She panted lightly, the Kitsune looking like she was about to pass out from it, but she persisted. There was the matter of patching up the circuits, as well as the small burn on his head.

- [22:22] Not knowing exactly what to expect was true. The giant Neries flinched as his circuitry was tampered with. Not in pain, no that was a different sensation.
- It was as if parts of him were being cut out with a knife. He could feel the occult being exorcised. It was as if someone had hit him with a wave of numbing agent and then went to work cutting out his bones.
- Except, it was different. He couldn't explain the feeling and indeed there was no explanation that could be given. Parts of his own self, the spirit that made him who he was. Were being removed with a smooth, almost brutal, efficiency.
- Yet, Syracuse was a man of sensations. This was true far beyond his connection to the Occult. His mind focused upon the coursing of cosmic mana into his circuits. His mind focused on that. Next to his Occultism the celestial gifts where most powerful.
- Perhaps the numerous cosmic circuitry that already existed would make the work easier. Perhaps not. However, what Syracuse himself could tell was that already his cosmic circuits bulged in anticipaton. As if they where some greedy force out to gain a greater purchase upon his own body.
- Briefly he imagined his patrons in the night sky. Gazing down upon his purging of that which added so much to the entertainment he'd given them. It was something unexpected, that much was certain.
- Perhaps he'd feel an ever greater connection to the dual stars Sirrah and Mirrah? Would the Lovers be more excited or less at these developments.

- [22:35] As it was done, Reito worked to patch up the holes in his circuits -- not using any sort of neutral healing magic such as nature or water. She used cosmic instead, to work to rapidly bandage the burned through circuits, before she utilized fire magic to actually cauterize that wound.
- Or at least, that's what she imagined. Regardless, the magical circuits were repaired, and now, she focused on the small burn spot on his head - soothing it over. It'd have to heal naturally over time, but finally, her hand fell from his head, sighing loudly,
- "... You're free," She said softly, the exhaustion evident in her voice, "You'll be able to start anew.... As for the ultimate fate of yourself, that's up to Emiri and the Tribunal. But for now, you needn't worry about madness." She offered with a tired smile.
- Not only was he cleansed of his occult, but his mind was ultimately soothed and cleansed of negative energies.

- [22:49] The pulsing of raw cosmic mana throughout his being was something he'd only experienced once. Under completely different circumstances. He'd take a breath, feeling the flair of life course through his being.
- The touch upon his forehead wasn't expected nor needed. Yet, it'd been given. Syracuse had been used for a lot of Occultic experiments in his time. None of them had ever had him patched up at the end of it.
- He stood from his seat, a rush of cosmic energy through his veins. Pulsing with the raw power of the celestial sky. He'd smile, without the occultic corruption everything was so crisps.
- He breathed deeply, the smell of perfumes, incense, and paper in the air. Among other things, notable the burning of leather from his coat.
- He'd look down at Reito, is sienna hues as dull as they always had been and yet brighter than they'd been in over a decade.
- "Thank you, Regent Shimasu. I will remember this, I imagine for the rest of my life."
- Upon his features was a wide grin, his teeth flashing between spread lips, his brow scrunched in mirth.
- "If you've need of me in the future. You've but to call upon my name."
- (Syracuse Fengari)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:51] She offered a smile, gazing up towards the Neries before she nodded,
- "Of course - no problem, Fen," She said quietly. "I imagine that Emiri will be deciding on a judgement for you soon, so.... Be patient. Regardless, I suppose you are free to go - within Huangzhou, at least."

- [22:51] Syracuse Fengari says, "I had assumed as such."
- [22:51] Syracuse Fengari says, "I'll seek out the old fox and see if he's gotten any closer to a decision."
- [22:52] Reito Shimasu says, "He isn't -that- old."
- [22:52] Syracuse Fengari says, "Sure."
- [22:52] Syracuse was clear of mind now, how could he be wrong?
- (Syracuse Fengari)

- [22:52] Syracuse Fengari says, "Later venerable Regent."
