FRLG Bruno Fight - Squirtle

Strats for this fight change depending on your current HP, your IV's, and at times your X-Item count
HUGE NOTE: FRLG AI is predictable, but ultimately random due to how the AI checks for move priorities. All of these strats work with our understanding of the AI, but the fights wont always go according to plan so you need to be able to adapt when you see something you weren't expecting

Things to know:
- Onix is heavily favored to lead Rock Tomb so it can lower your speed. Anytime you're faster Rock Tomb will be heavily favored
- If you have 31 IV Speed AND used Carbos or 30 IV Speed with Carbos + 5 extra speed EV's (Lv 7 strats and Josh) Onix will go for 2 speed drops. Must do Mid HP Strat
- After you're speed is lowered Onix will use Earthquake spam
- The turn after you take an X-Speed Onix will Rock Tomb to drop speed again
- Guard Spec saves you from speedfalls so Onix is favored to keep spamming Rock Tomb as it tries to lower speed
- Do not leave Onix at a health that is dead to Mach Punch (often can Super when in kill range into fine health)

Strat 1 (most common): Full Restore turn 1, X-Spec x2, X-Speed, Surf x5
Strat 2 (High HP): X-Spec x2, X-Speed, Surf x5
Strat 3 (Mid HP): Guard Spec, X-Spec x2, Surf x5

Full Restore Strats
Strat 1 -> Use if your HP is below 80, you are statused, have awkward HP, or you want to play safely
DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE 28+ IV DEF (Rash/Modest) WITH HIGH HP IV
DO NOT USE IF 31 SPEED AND USED CARBOS
How the fight SHOULD work:
Turn 1: Full Restore, Onix Rock Tombs to lower Speed
Turn 2: Spec, EQ
Turn 3: Spec, EQ
Turn 4: Speed, EQ
Turn 5-9: Surf x5

Depending on Rock Tomb misses or bad rolls you may have to stall an extra turn. If you need to stall do it before popping X-Speed. Should Stall with third X-Spec -> then either Speed or Guard Spec (Speed if your going next turn or need to stall again and see RT the following turn, Guard Spec if you need to stall again and see EQ the following turn), then use the other one the following turn if still needing to stall

High HP Strats
Strat 2 -> Use if you can tank 1 Rock Tomb and 2 Earthquakes into Torrent
DO NOT USE IF 31 SPEED AND USED CARBOS

Turn 1: Spec, Onix Rock Tombs to lower Speed
Turn 2: Spec, EQ
Turn 3: Speed, EQ
Turn 4-8: Surf x5

Mid HP Strats
Strat 3 -> RISKY BECAUSE AI CAN BE SHIT -> Use if you can tank 3 Rock Tombs into Torrent
How the fight SHOULD work:
Turn 1: Guard Spec, Onix Rock Tombs to lower Speed
Turn 2: Spec, Onix Rock Tombs to lower Speed
Turn 3: Spec, Onix Rock Tombs to lower Speed
Turn 4-8: Surf x5

The above strat can often get ruined by Onix deciding to randomly Earthquake

Onix 3 Turn Damage Average: RT + x2 EQ (HIGH HP STRATS)
Mild
0-5    =>  88-94 Damage  =>  Be around 126-136 HP
6-14   =>  87-93 Damage  =>  Be around 124-134 HP
15-24  =>  82-88 Damage  =>  Be around 117-129 HP
25+    =>  80-86 Damage  =>  Be around 115-128 HP

Rash/Modest
0-9    =>  80-86 Damage  =>  Be around 114-128 HP
10-20  =>  74-80 Damage  =>  Be around 108-122 HP
21+    =>  72-78 Damage  =>  Be around 105-120 HP

Onix 3 Turn Damage Average: RT x3 (MID HP STRATS)
Mild
0-14    =>  54-60 Damage  =>  Be around 93-99 HP
15+     =>  48-54 Damage  =>  Be around 85-93 HP

Rash/Modest
0-9    =>  48-54 Damage  =>  Be around 85-93 HP
10+    =>  45-51 Damage  =>  Be around 80-88 HP

Hitmonchan Mach Punch Damage:
Mild
0 - 3    =>  (28) - (34)
4 - 14   =>   28 - (33)
15 - 26  =>   26 - (31)
27 - 31  =>   25 - (30)

Rash/Modest
