  1. I'm gonna just throw in commentary for both matches in one paragraph:
  2.
  3. Vs Snake:
  4.
  5. I wouldn't play too defensively long range in this matchup, as it allows Snake to maintain stage control quite easily while he can challenge fireball camping with grenades. I also wouldn't advise being too close to Snake either unless its mid-combo. This basically leaves u with the midrange game. The advantage at this range is that you can harass Snake to approach you as you can fireball faster than he throws grenades here. Full hop (short hop? I forget how tall Snake is) Dair is also useful for approaches as Snake can't shieldgrab you much if you use it correctly. When you land the crucial hit, you should stay on Snake as you've been doing but be careful of his UpB, as you probably already know.

  7. As for the edgeguard game....
  8.
  9. Snake pretty much makes your cape useless so instead try to rely on your Bair a lot. It has good range for one of Mario's moves and it comes out fast/ends quickly, making it a good tool for challenging Snake's UpB. Snake is rather helpless in the air other than grenades so you can take advantage of this quite easily with Fireballs if he recovers low or the Bair as I mentioned above if he recovers higher.
