It's not the bar, where the tech priest runs into the floating Destroyer Lord. Rather, it's somewhere several dozen decks below the bar, in an old section of the ship. There's been some power fluctuations coming from here, not too many, but someone's down here. It also helps that this is apparently where some of the raw materials and broken heavy equipment is stored. Either way, Eighteen, when she steps into a surprisingly well lit room, finds Karina there, spot welding something together with a tool mounted in her arm. She doesn't seem to have heard Eighteen yet.
It looks like she's fixing an old Arvus Lighter, disused and broken for a while.

Did she get the drop on the necron infiltrator? Eighteen, upon spotting Karina, would slow her movement, approaching her carefully, while drawing her weapon from the old... and better times "Who's given you permission to use this vessel's materials? I'd think someone like you would be more...considerate in enemy territory."

The robot turns, eyes fixing on Eighteen, a bit of surprise on her fully articulated face before she sighs, a little. "I wanted to make myself useful. You get that, at least, right?"
She doesn't sound hostile. Just a little wary and a bit sad.
Karina looks at the weapon, eyes suddenly locked on it.
"Is..." She shakes her head, looking like she wants to RUSH forward and examine the weapon. Her face is a look of pure interest and excitement. "I...I mean...that's...that's what I think it is, isn't it?"

Eighteen cocks the weapon,  her lasstinger slowly moving high up above her head "I can always pull the trigger and help confirm or bust your theory."

Her own expression would remain a perfectly neutral look. She may aswell been somewhere at a nice dinner, rather than threatening another being "Usefull for whom or what, though?"

"Oh! I'd love to get shot with a Volkite rifle! That is what it is, right? Oh man! I'm setting up my systems now to record it!" She squees. "I've never even seen one! And now I'm going to! And see what it does! Today is great already!" She seems to mean it too! Like the prospect of getting shot doesn't worry her that much.

"And um, Captain Niko, I guess? I wanted to see if I could fix some of the stuff down here. I like tinkering and mending things. It's fun and I like using my hands."
"Like, you can shoot me once, if you want!"
.....She takes the fun right out of it, doesn't she?

"I've got a ton of Gauss weaponry and I guess before I was a Necron I'd be all, "OOOOH!" so, I guess it's the same for you with that."

Eighteen seems to pause, somewhat surprised about the necron's... quirkiness.

Have you ever seen Terminator 2? Because it's sort of like that. There's a big hole in Karina's head that rather rapidly fills back in, the Necron giving the BIGGEST smile you've ever seen. "OH MAN! THAT WAS AWESOME!"

Annoyance was clear in her synthetic voice at that point, but she soon resumes her more neutral stance, unwilling to show her inner condition. Although, logically... there was fear. And born of fear, many considerations.
