Hi all! This update (originally just a hotfix) took longer than we wanted it to because there were a lot of complications, but hopefully the additional content will have been worth the wait. We're also including a handful of bugfixes and minor tweaks in this one, including some long-awaited fixes to cop hostages, courtesy of Hoxi.

We've also taken steps to try and improve gameplay on some heists that were overwhelming even with the "Tiny" level setup.

We also managed to find a VA for our custom contractor, Jackal. We have added briefing voice-overs to the two Jackal heists.

We've replaced the broken and useless Armor Bag with a new Grenade Case deployable, for when you want just a little more boom.

We made a bit of an executive decision to ditch Explosive Headshot and replace it with the other Graze Overhaul made by Hopip, Mind Blown. This decision was made because Explosive Headshot is nearly useless on some heists and struggles heavily on some others, and we also kind of liked Mind Blown better anyway. Mind Blown functions as a "chaining shot". When you get a headshot, a bolt of damage will chain to nearby enemies within a certain range. [b] Please give us feedback on the balance of this skill.[/b]

We've recreated the Vyse and BEEEF masks from Payday: The Heist in a MUCH higher quality than their original designs. These beautiful masks were re-design by Rino, and we think they're a substantial upgrade.

These were in the last update actually but we forgot to advertise them because said update was hurried out, so we're doing it now.

There's a few other assorted masks too but you'll have to check them out in game. Old masks from pre-release versions of the game that were cut have been re-added (with some various fixes and tweaks).

[h1]Enemies[/h1]
We've adjusted a load of enemy assets, fixing errors and improving textures or models. Murky Vet Cops, Russian Titan Cloakers and Russian Titan HRT have received overhauled assets.

Enemy turn speeds on Death Wish and Death Sentence have been increased to add a bit more challenge. Enemy turn speeds will also increase in multiplayer with 3 or more players. This allows enemies to react faster to players, which is necessary in multiplayer as previously players could easily overwhelm cops. Solo players will see a difficulty increase too, but nothing too major.

[h1]Cosmetics[/h1]
All of our heist suits are now working again! They were broken by the Silk Road update (which changed how suits work entirely), but we were able to restore them without too much issue. THESE WILL OVERRIDE YOUR SUIT CHOICE. This means you can only wear custom suits on heists where you wear the default suit.

We also took the time to add our suits to the Tailor Menu, so you can now wear them on other heists if you'd like!

As a bonus, we've added two new suits! The completely custom Sunny Side Robber and the Prison Suit Hoxton wears in Hoxton Breakout. These suits have been assigned to fitting heists as well.

The Female heister ICTV now shows with the Combat Harness.
Two additional styles have been added to The Classic, courtesy of Jarey. We've also added Fuglore's improved GSMA for The Classic, making the metal and reflective bits look better.

The filesize is very large making auto-updating not functional, so you have to download manually.

Here's a quick instruction how to copy your savefile from Vanilla to Overhaul while we make an infographic.

1. Navigate to your PAYDAY 2 folder that contains your savefile.
2. BACKUP 'save098.sav' TO SOMEWHERE SAFE ON YOUR PC.
3. MAKE A COPY OF 'save098.sav'.
4. DELETE 'save077.sav'.
5. RENAME THE COPY TO 'save077.sav'.

REMEMBER, BACK-UP YOUR VANILLA SAVE, WHICH IS 'save098.sav', TO ENSURE IT IS NOT DAMAGED OR DELETED IN ANY WAY.
