  1. [20:14] Leading the two elsewhere, deep into the dreadwoods where the occultism ran thick in the air. Offering some explanation as they made way through, bypassing the trees. "Eugo… You shall take lead in this one, but I will be directly assisting you... Our goal is to make use of my essence's in the animus. To give the mimic a possible chance of fusing them with their own core. I've heard of those... Doublegangers. Yes? It'd be something like that... I think?"
  2.
  3. They weren't entirely sure what would happen in the process. Mostly it coming down to the mimics own resolve in shaping the magics.
  4.
  5. Curious of the outcome. Speaking less as they delved deeper till finally arriving at a lone well in the woods.
  6. (Irkalla)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [20:18] Blackjack would begin his walk by the trail, only to notice a gathering by the well.
  10.
  11. "Hello all, would it be appreciated I conjure any more runes?"
  12.
  13. He seemed quieter, the last expense of his power took a lot from him, his arms from under his cloths showed his veins dark.
  14.
  15. "I feel I was blessed by the occult itself when we did the ritual...I may be a bit tired but..."
  16.
  17. He'd lift his arms to the air, seemingly getting ready to create more.
  18.
  19. "The flesh is willing."
  20. (Blackjack)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [20:23] Eugo wasn't quite sure what a Doppleganger was having never worked with one before, But if it required the control of Essence the Demon was getting far more efficient with it day by day.
  24.
  25. "Very well Mistress, I have become adequate enough at controlling essence I believe I can assist you in this much." The demon claimed, Having already felt confident in his studies of witchcraft despite not fully being able to harness it the demon pursuit it regardless.
  26.
  27. Knowing the rituals and the ways to praise the Dark Lord could only help to serve a greater purpose. "I'll take the lead." The demon moved to announce himself gathering small traces of essence into his body like black Ash it gathered around him.
  28.
  29. "I have no idea what exactly you expect of me. So you'll have to give me more information if I'm going to work it into my runes. What exactly do you hope to accomplish? And how can I help you make it possible." The demon spoke in echo's multitude of voices layering atop another.
  30.
  31. Runic circles appeared, Revolving around as the demon tapped and typed, Each word into existence using only his mental capacity for the ancient words of Atrellya that he worked with.
  32.
  33. Eugo had been prepared and no matter what task his mistress gave him he was prepared to attempt to do it as perfectly as possible. Although his weakest area was on the battlefield.
  34.
  35.
  36. (Eugo La Ravias)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [20:23] {Item} You drop Cigarette.
  40. [20:24] Eugo La Ravias says, "Vitality enchantment on that Bj"
  41. [20:25] {Item} You drop Wing Piece.
  42. [20:29] Blackjack says, "I'm going to try something. I need to ask what this ritual is to lead to."
  43. [20:30] Blackjack says, "but, to...intermix my enchantments"
  44. [20:34] The darkened woods wept as the group of witch spawn would find an isolated space. Where a murder of crows circled above them, and critters buzzed as they fled the scene. The wind whooshed through the canopy of the Dreadwoods, and the Mimic couldn't be more excited.
  45.
  46. To finally have a taste of an essence.
  47.
  48. It has had essence taken from it - seen it distributed into artefacts to corrupt them... So how far could such an other otherworldly force, unable to be conquered by a mimic push them?
  49.
  50. Pouted black lips curled into a Cheshire grin... Jagged inhumane teeth peeking through...
  51.
  52. "Can an essence... change me... Can it... Rid of something that has plagued me - something that I have no use for?"
  53.
  54. A forgotten magic that the mimic once learned - could it rewrite it... Expel it from their very body?
  55.
  56. "Can it make me a pure embodiment of ice and gravity - and nothing else?"
  57.
  58. Large beady eyes look towards those gathered, before moving towards Blackjack...
  59.
  60. "Create a ritual of Ice. Can you do that?"
  61.
  62. They knew that advance magics were difficult to conjure into rune magic - but perhaps this runemaster could push themselves to new extremes?
  63.
  64.
  65. (Marzanna)
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  67.
  68. [20:46] Blackjack would raise his arms to the air, as a gas would spew about him, from within this gas, runes of storm would spark throughout the rat's aura.
  69.
  70. "Vitae."
  71.
  72. Quickly, blackjack would pull out his Orichalcum dagger, thrusting it into the storm and absorb as much energy as he could from it. He would scramble past a nearby tree, carving into it before quickly jotting down a small but, for its size a potent rune, slowly the tree would emanate a chill within the area.
  73.
  74. "Frigus, resurgemus."
  75.
  76. Soon the tree would be shooting out a beam of condensed chill, maybe not as potent as the rune-writer could have, had he not been doing 2 enchantments at once.
  77. (Blackjack)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [20:46] {Item} You picked up Wing Piece. Dropped by Eugo La Ravias..
  81. [20:50] BlackJack was given a pat on the shoulder for his enchanting abilities had grown significantly in the last few years. Without his help Eugo would've been left in the dust surely. "You've earned my gratitude BlackJack. Thanks for your continued service to the Dark Lord, Now...Pay attention very soon you will be learning how to do things similarly." He'd hoped one day to show Blackjack how to use Atrellyian runes, As a way to pass the knowledge down to a future generation of Cultist.
  82.
  83. The demon stood and listened it wasn't impossible of a task she wanted to expel her magic and become renewed, With the essence that was gathered between Irkalla and Eugo this much could at the very least be attempted. "As with all things this is merely and experiment. I can give no assurance that it will work. However..." The empty face of the demon would gaze towards Irkalla.
  84.
  85. "I am confident in my abilities and My Mistress has taught me well." A snap of his fingers and an elaborate circle made of rune magic would appear before them however this was not as large as the ones he used prior. More compact the writing had been left to a few words of power that influenced over the entities Eugo wanted to manipulate.
  86.
  87. "With the essence I've gathered here I will reverse the flow of the Timestream...and then inject that flow directly into your body." A look towards Irkalla. "Mistress I'll need you to assist me by keeping the of Essence of her body renewed and restored with power so the time Magic doesn't regress her past existence. The flow of the Timestream is a serious power and even I have difficulty controlling it..But I am sure you will know how to do so." After all If Irkalla had ever wanted to harness the immense power of the Soul she would have to challenge herself against the power of time as well.
  88.
  89. "As for you Mimic focus on the magics you wish to rid yourself of, And what destiny you wish to follow instead. Your essence will be regressed to a point in time where you only could use Ice and Gravity. As you desired." With everything being thoroughly explained as best he could the Demon would move to prepare scribbling a final rune in the air.
  90.
  91. "Take your positions and lets begin..."
  92. (Eugo La Ravias)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [20:53] Smiling as the ascended watched eugo do their work. Taking more than time into account, they were wielding their magics now with a unique sense of expertise. "You've improved vastly... Eugo." They mumbled, walking over to a comfortable position before the ritual began.
  96.
  97. Honing their focus on the future cognitive commands to be had on the animus. "Of course... I shall restrain said magics from being overwhelmed... And any other assistance you require." With a smile, they were curious of what was to become of this.
  98.
  99. As they all had accomplished their own ritual prior with the chalice.
  100.
  101. This only made it more enticing to take part in.
  102. (Irkalla)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [21:09] As Blackjack tamed a wild storm of ice into a rune that spiralled around them, the creature couldn't resist releasing a high-pitched giggle. The crowing continued above them, as Marzanna's hands came together to applaud them.
  106.
  107. "Perhaps soon, you will prove yourself as a valuable asset to me, Blackjack." To others, their worth may have been already proven - yet Marzanna remained spectacle about their presence.
  108.
  109. "I am a Mimic - Eugo." Beady eyes glare to them. "My kind is vastly unknown - vastly misunderstood... Unlike Demons, who have had decades to establish themselves - who have reigned terror on this continent for centuries..."
  110.
  111. "I am new. Even I do not know what I can do..."
  112.
  113. "I just know I can do anything."
  114.
  115. A single hand moved to pet their neck gently, their head cocking to the side excitedly. "My kind is all about manipulation of ourselves... To take on different forms - to change who I am as a mimic."
  116.
  117. So could it be possible to manipulate a magic out of their own body. To not only forget it, but to transcend the timestream itself to discard a piece of themselves.
  118.
  119. "I do not need this magic... I do not want it. I do not care for it. I want it gone."
  120.
  121. Even if this was but an experiment, Marzanna's expectations were high of Master and Mentor. Their beady eyes recline into slime, as the core at the epicentre of it all would vibrate... As it did, the crown of Erie did find itself on their head once more.
  122.
  123. With Marzanna's own flueds intertwined into the crown by Dun Task, the powers of greed and pride spiralled through them...
  124.
  125. The greed to become whole.
  126. A cocky conviction to see it happen.
  127.
  128. "Gone... Take it away from me - make me forget it. Make it never have it to begin with..."
  129.
  130. "I want it gone. Gone... Gone!"
  131.
  132. Their high-pitched voice echoed out, silences the countless crickets of the forest. "Take it away from me Eugo - I want the foul magic of Bone to never have plagued my body... I want to be liquid - I want to be ice..."
  133.
  134. "There is no place in me for bone."
  135.
  136. (Marzanna)
  137. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  138.
  139. [21:21] Blackjack would gleefully smile as he heard the praise of the mimic.
  140.
  141. "My p-pleasure."
  142.
  143. The air would be a bit chilled, but not in an ever encroaching darkness, but as if a pepper-mint had exploded within his very soul, in tune with the rune he had just placed, it had been some time since he had last placed a run of such, specific caliber. The tree was slowly beginning to freeze from the rune, overpowering even the life force of the corrupt nature.
  144.
  145. "L-let me try to-"
  146.
  147. He'd take another notch in the tree in attempt to lay down another rune, only for the tree before him to completely become consumed in ice.
  148.
  149. "N-never mind..."
  150.
  151. It seemed he had, perhaps not losing control of it, but simply how strong it was. He would grab his orichalcum knife from the tree-popsicle, tearing it out, to hobble his chilled self back to the well.
  152.
  153. "Try to, perhaps, consume the essence of the tree and, maybe, switch it out with whatever of the, biopowers of bone you can grab, Eugo."
  154. (Blackjack)
  155. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  156.
  157. [21:28] The intentions were spoken into existence, Into the essence, And it would take one who could twist time around their fingers to manifest these intentions into the essence into a concept of power.
  158.
  159. Eugo Ravias focused all his energy into this, Chronomancy had been its magnum opus up until now and having finally gained some minute control of it gained him a frim hold on his place in this realm.
  160.
  161. The Black Shaman of the Dreadwoods....The high pitched tones of of Marzanna's voice would only be matched by the piercing screams of the reality being torn asunder as the energies of the Timestream were cut and ripped into.
  162.
  163. The demons claw being exposed with Shadows that crackled in high frequency Temporal Magics that shattered into Marzanna's chest, and deeper into her core.
  164.
  165. The runes guided the blast so nothing else was effected by Marzanna herself would feel some level of deep pain, Regression wasn't an easy burden to bare. And Irkalla would haveher hands full aiming to contain the raw timestream energy coated in Black Magics.
  166.
  167. However this was no easy trade, Eugo offered up a lot of his own essence in order to develop himself further, Push himself past his limits he would aim not only to just erase the time Marzanna desired to be removed...but in fact Steal The time away from the Mimic entirely.
  168.
  169. As the Arch of Time stream was began to wane down the runes would meet their Mark taking place. And activating according to their importance.
  170.
  171. The first rune The rune of the Soul. The soul held onto the memories of magic where the Mimic drew her power from by manipulating it in a slight degree by adding the Time magic the soul would be regressed to a point where she did not know bone magic.
  172.
  173. Next would be the Spirit. A lesser portion of the soul yet it still carried enough weight to be effected. Molding the essence of the living creatures within the Dreadwoods, Eugo would shape the runes in order to give commands to the spirit influencing it to reject the undesired magic and instead gather strength in Ice and Gravity.
  174.
  175. And lastly....The Rune that would effect the Mana Circuit's. Had it been true that Mimics could be what ever they desired it would be easy to use a rune that could regress the mana circuitry into the desired shape to rid Marzanna of Bone magic.
  176.
  177. The Runic structure array each fell atop Marzanna enclosing her in a triple ring before a final snap of Eugo's fingers had her flashing bright green. As once again the Timestreams great flow washed over her. The results? Had yet to be seen.
  178. (Eugo La Ravias)
  179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  180.
  181. [21:36] Flexing their arms out as the temporal flows began to emerge from the runic scripture. Erecting a powerful barrier around the ritual circle to best ensure protection around the entire process.
  182.
  183. "Remember, Eugo! This is no easy task!"
  184.
  185. Their voice nearly overwhelmed by the rush of occultism seeping out. Magics that would be uncontrollable, had the demon not been more than well-versed. But practiced.
  186.
  187. Forcing the animus to call fourth the essence's resting inside. Fueling the piece of Irkalla's soul within. Furthering the strength wielded by the demon.
  188.
  189. "Worry not though... It will be, soon."
  190.
  191. They voiced, watching as the process was underwent from the outside. Glancing briefly over to blackjack with a nod. Though unable to speak much.
  192.
  193. As, containing another persons full strength. Wasn't exactly as tolerable as the ascended expected. Wincing every so often as they further applied runes across the outside. Sigils implanted across the outside of the structure.
  194.
  195. Curious of the outcome. Whether it be success or failure, it mattered not. There were plenty more attempts to be had.
  196. (Irkalla)
  197. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  198. [21:49] It was time to finally begin. To tear down the Mimic's past, present and future and rebuild it anew. Irkalla stabilised the ritual around them - so that the margin for error would be minute...
  199.
  200. Yet to twist and bend the reality of a singular mimic, to absorb a piece of their very past into oneself - would such a feat be possible? The shaman would begin to break time apart, as an influx of depravity would fill the Dreadwoods.
  201.
  202. Marzanna began to flicker - as shadows of its former self surrounded them. The blonde lean man once known as Angel - Roy - Voraz - Finnae, and a few unknown people... All of the forms that they had taken in the past would be on full display.
  203.
  204. The Shaman's magic intersected their very time-line, reading and absorbing it... Trying to figure out where exactly that magic was learned...
  205.
  206. "Take anything else - and you die, Eugo."
  207.
  208. A simple warning would given to the Shaman. If he was to take something that was not his - there would be retribution. He was not to get greedy, not to take advantage of Marzanna flickering through their timeline.
  209.
  210. Their body shock and quivered, as a painful high-pitched scream echoed out from them. Their core trembled, as runes an time itself seemed to push out what it had learned. Yet finally they joined - as a beam of green spiralled into the air...
  211.
  212. And soon - the ritual was done.
  213.
  214. The beady eyed mimic glance around, as the forest seemed to return to its prior self...
  215.
  216. "Mm... Why are we here again...?"
  217.
  218. A curious look move towards the three others gathered... "I don't remember anything past the ritual with Carlisle..." A confused hand rose to itch the side of their head.
  219.
  220. Has their body been stripped of the magic completely - or was it just a lapse in time?
  221. (Marzanna)
  222. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  223.
  224. [21:52] Blackjack whispers: well, there goes me trying to be more favored in her vision of myself as a person.
  225. [22:01] The ritual seemed to have ended far too abruptly to be complete...although in some facets it was a success...The demon had successfully taken away time from someone. Stolen it as if it were his.
  226.
  227. "The ritual...That was a few hours ago you truly remember nothing?" The many voices that the demon spoke of where all breathing heavily. In unison. The Shaman themselves overexerted from using so much of the Timestream's raw flow.
  228.
  229. Yet he was not disappointed in his progress. After all reversing the time of another without killing them was more difficult than he'd first imagined...It would take some time before Eugo could perfectly accomplish this it seemed.
  230.
  231. "Mh…It seems the experiment failed. I might have to use some more potent runes next time..." Yet another failure? No...This was merely a momentary set back after all.
  232.
  233. The forces of time were not easily bent to the will of those who desired it. If that was the case many tragic moments in history would've been changed.
  234.
  235. And Eugo would be the one to do so in due time..."Forgive me Mimic but it seems we will have to reconvene at another time. Although for now? I think what we've accomplished here will be sufficient enough experience." The runes began to fade away and essence that had been swarming around them soon began to fade back into the Dreadwoods.
  236.
  237. Eugo remained in his own thoughts as he allowed the others to catch their breaths as well.
  238. (Eugo La Ravias)
  239. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  240. [22:11] Blackjack would bite his tongue, he quickly waved away the frost rune, which had ended its spotlight glow upon the ritual. He was unsure what had just happened himself, certainty the time magi could, explain.
  241.
  242. "I think my actions were enough to cause you a, form of joy, if it is more runes you seek, I will be here often...."
  243.
  244. He would shake the dust from off him, slowly walking away to catch his breath.
  245. (Blackjack)
  246. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  247.
  248. [22:17] Rolling their neck with a of stiffness arising from the constant strain pushed on this particular day. Gazing in silence towards the mimic, than back to eugo. "Well... At very least? We can see your capacity to bend time is rather. Expressive."
  249.
  250. They laughed, covering their mouth with the back of a palm. Nodding their head alongside eugo in direction of the mimic. "Yes, we'd done the ritual... In an attempt to change you up a bit... Infusing essence's an all that. Though... Maybe for now? Something's occurred. But we'll likely require more to further influence this effect... Next time? I shall take the lead. Eugo? You shall assist."
  251.
  252. Although eugo still required experience in the fields. There wasn't anything lacking in what the ascended did... Attempting to contain temporal flows.
  253.
  254. It was taxing.
  255.
  256. "We'll see... Rather, I shall prepare them for you. For thenext attempt you have with them." It seemed like a possibility. Probably for the best at that.
  257.
  258. "But another time? Messing with magics as we have... And the combat all done thus far? Has gotten to me... I require a bit of rest. But you've all done well. In both enduring the magics and enacting them." Opening their arms to the small group.
  259.
  260. It was only a matter of time, before they could do more. With others. An army. Of willing subjects to tamper with.
  261. (Irkalla)
  262. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  263.
  264. [22:21] It seems that whatever transpired here was a partial success... The curious creature's eyes glazed over the woods, the crows long gone - and the woods themselves deadly silent. They hummed to themselves...
  265.
  266. "Oh - this must be the experiment you wanted to attempt on me, correct Irkalla?" They had aligned bits and pieces of what had happened prior to this. It all made sense - the ritual was either a success or a complete failure.
  267.
  268. Marzanna would only find out later on...
  269.
  270. Yet as they thoughts raced through their core - there was one thing missing. Any memory of learning bone magic... Yet still - an inspection of their mana circuits would signify that the magic is still there to some degree...
  271.
  272. Marzanna just lost her memory of it...
  273.
  274. Their hands came together! "Well.. We will attempt this another time then perhaps? See if it works next time, so refine your technique for now..." It seems that for now - the four of them werefinished here!
  275. (Marzanna)
