The Drow

Drow are a race of dark skinned Drel-Reev (Elves for you round ears) that live deep underground. Back when the Elves were all one race, the supporters of Rhysvial were exiled to live in tunnels deep beneath the earth, which eventually caused the last survivors to transform into what they are today. Originally, the denizens of the cave slaughtered their poor asses, as they were utterly defenseless against the primordial horrors that lurked below. Then they found solace.

In the form of Serket, one of The Abyssal Lords. The Scorpion Queen had long ruled Drow society for thousands of years after, but eventually they grew fed up with her tyranny and decided to split apart into several different noble lines. The result was what we have today! While many Drow still venerate Serket, others have chosen to split and form their own small communities. The largest are ran by a noble house, a family line that decided to look into a new demonic patron for assistance. Based off the religion, most Drow live a rather harsh life filled with backstabbing each other to become top dog, or perhaps, the priestess of the church. Many Drow, as a result, have chosen to separate themselves from emotional ties and worry only about themselves.


Many Drow have decided to simply walk up to the surface in hopes that they find life much less cruel than the underground; that, or they're exiled. Unfortunately they're shunned and generally slaughtered on sight in many countries.

How long since you've arrived on the surface:

Age: Drow are very fucking long-lived. The longest living race of any Elf, they can reach a whopping 1200 years old. The expectancy is only 60 because they generally die way, way before that though.

Religious Views: Drow know a lot more about the occult. You should probably ask DM For any gods besides the ones listed on the pantheon.

Personality: Pls no Drizzt

Appearance: The universal trait of a drow is dark skin and pure white hair.


Equipment: Drow gear is often crafted of cold steel. It's created from an ore that has a lower melting point than most.

Drows using miracles worship a fucking Abyssal lord. In other words, you'll have to run that by me unless we're assuming your character somehow managed to settle into a community and get accepted enough to venerate one of the other gods.

Drow using sorceries are always of noble bloodline.

Drow Druids are very rare, but as with all Elven races, possible. Druids are hated by Drow society and almost killed the moment they're discovered, due to their implied connection with Sylvannas.
