  1. Destroyer Fusillade Style
  2.
  3. Developed by the destroyers-gods of Autocthon, this ranged martial art employs essence discharge weaponry, including the Alchemical Essence Pulse Cannon and Siege Devastator. These are Celestial Martial Arts Charms, and Alchemical practitioners require Perfected Lotus Matrix to be installed.
  4.
  5. Form Weapons: Essence-Discharge or Alchemical Fire Weapons (Plasma Tongue Repeaters or Fuel Bolt Launchers).
  6. This style is fully compatible with armor.
  7. s.
  8.
  9. New Keyword: Barrage (X)
  10. Charms with this keyword modify their effects depending on how many successful consecutive times they've been used on the same target. Only attacks made with ranged weapons (Such as the Essence Pulse Cannon, or charms which create similar artillery), count for Barrage. The number next to the keyword defines the required number of successful attacks. Charms with the Barrage keyword do not count multiple strikes from flurries. In short, a maximum of 1 barrage counter per DV refresh. If the martial artist makes no successful attacks on a given action, the barrage counter resets to 0.
  11.
  12. Many practitioners of this style employ the Barrage effects on stationary or inanimate targets, to ensure accuracy.

See Exalted 2e corebook, page 155 for more information.

  68.
  69. Name:
  70. Cost:
  71. Minimums:
  72. Type:
  73. Keywords:
  74. Duration:
  75. Prerequisites:
  76.
  77. The Martial Artist may additionally pay 4m to supplement an attack. If she does so, that attack is treated having an Area-of-Effect. Apply the full attack successes to the actual target's DV.
  78.
  79. Any other character within [Essence x2] yards of the point of impact has the same rolled attack successes, -2, applied to their DV. All charm effects are applied to as normal.
  80.
  81. Name: Bombardment Fortification Stance
  82. Cost: 7m+1wp (+1wp)
  83. Minimums: Martial Arts 5, Essence 3
  84. Type: Simple (Speed 3, DV -2)
  85. Keywords: Combo-Ok, Obvious, Crippling
  86. Duration: One Scene
  87. Prerequisites: Destroyer Fusillade Form
  88.
  89. The Martial Artist shifts their stance, anchoring themselves to the ground like the great war-engines of the Destroyers, and their supportive barricades. In their great battles within the Maker, their built-in weaponry cannot be fired without a stable platform. The Martial Artist provides.
  90.
  91. When this charm is activated, the exalt stomps the ground. Essence surges into the area, and from the terrain a battlement fit for the Destroyer Stylist rises around them. The Exalt is surrounded by a region of scintilating Essence, which counts as Unstable Terrain and Water and Muck (Pg 155, Exalted 2e Core.), out to [Essence x 10] yards away. The Instability Rating of this terrain is equal to the Alchemical's [Essence +2 ]. All characters who fail their athletics checks suffer an external penalty equal to the Alchemical's Essence on movement, Dodge DV and close-combat attacks.
  92.
  93. Further, lashing arcs of Essence force opponents to the ground. While in the area of effect, enemy characters may not jump or fly. This is a Crippling Effect.
  94.
  95. In addition to surrounding themselves with an essence-field to bog down attackers, the ground and environment rises up around them to grant protection. The Exalt, and up to 4 other characters, gains the benefit of Hard Cover (+1 to Close Combat DV, +4 to Ranged). While behind cover, the Martial Artist and all who stand with her ignore Knockback and Knockdown, and cannot be surrounded. Leaving the battlement voids this protection. The battlement itself is equivilant to a Stone Wall (12L/18B) soak, and has [Essence x2] -0HLs.
  96.
  97. These defensive benefits, while great, are not without drawback. The Martial Artist herself cannot leave her fortress without spending 1wp to end the charm early. Doing so reverts the terrain back to normal.
  98.
  99. Name: Range-of-Efficacy Understanding
  100. Cost: 4m or 6m

  108.
  109. This charm supplements an Unarmed close-combat martial arts attack for 4m. The Exalt may apply the results of her attack roll to [Essence] targets within [Essence x5] yards of her position, even if they are airborne or otherwise not normally in melee range. An attack so supplemented is incompatible with Extra Action charms.
  110.
  111. For 6m, when using a ranged attack, the Martial Artist may instead focus her destructive and disruptive prowess on her enemies, not her allies. If an attack supplemented by this charm would deal damage or some form of additional effect (Knockdown/back, Crippling, etc.), it will only affect targets of her choice, be they enemies, allies, or structures. This charm does nothing to ensure the attack actually hits, only that it damages what the martial artist wants, sparing the rest.

  130. When this charm is activated, the Martial Artist leads a special coordinate attack action. Awareness and perception of the Exalt's target flows into the impromptu artillery battery, while Essence guides their aim and empowers their weapon.
  131.

  133.

If one character can attack 300 yards away, all the participants can as well. One successful attack from each particpating character counts for Barrage.
