I write to you on behalf of Danish Publishers, Børsen, Slotsholmsgade 1, 1217 Copenhagen K, CVR 55 55 56 13 who represents the publishing industry in Denmark including the publishers Forlaget Alvilda (CVR-nr. 32149766), Dansklærerforeningens Hus A/S (CVR-nr. 13612528), Forlaget Hovedland (CVR-nr. 32237533), G.E.C. Gads Forlag A/S (CVR-nr. 36424311), Gyldendal A/S (CVR-nr. 58200115), Hoi Forlag (CVR-nr. 38758799), Lindhardt og Ringhof A/S (CVR 76351910), Modtryk (CVR-nr. 29840970), People’s (CVR-nr. 26608694), Politikens Forlag (CVR-nr. 26933676).

  10. The non-profit organisation Danish Rights Alliance has been appointed to enforce the copyrights of The Rightsholders.

It has come to our attention that you are infringing the above mentioned rights holder’s copyrights by providing unauthorized copies to the public of at least 109 copyright protected literary works published by The Rightsholders on your website here https://thenose.cc/public/AI/pile_preliminary_components/books3.tar.gz.

Making copyright protected literary works available to the public in Denmark and the EU constitutes a communication to the public, which requires the express consent from the appropriate rights holders to be legal. Attached this notice is an overview of the works with the title they have been given in the books3.tar.gz file. Attached is also an example of how the works are available in the file.

  22. Please note that the above mentioned rights holders have not given their consent to your making available of their copyright protected content, therefore making your actions illegal in Denmark and likely elsewhere.

  26. I write to you because you are in a position to act and to hinder further infringements as described above. This e-mail serves as information to you about the above mentioned infringements and I request that you take all the necessary steps in order to stop the infringements.

  30. I would also like to inform you that RettighedsAlliancen will take all steps necessary to bring the infringing activities to an end including commencing a website blocking case at the Danish courts.
