- Hello Feedbackteam,
- this is my feedback,
- please excuse my bad English.
- First I want to say my opinion about the new trade block for seven days
- after you got the items.
- In my opinion there is no sense behind this update. The only reason I
- think why Valve did this update is, to gain more control about the items
- and try to erase all the instant trading bots and gamble site.
- For your company this is a big step to get more money out of your
- pregrammed skins and items, but a very large part of the community are
- people who often trade skins via bots and/or gamble.
- On the other side there are collectors who try to upgrade their
- inventory everytime and got thousands dollars of items they just got to
- trade them into rare/collector skins.
- I think this update with seven days item trade bans will cause a big
- shitstorm.
- On my second part here I want to give my feedback about the steam mobile
- auth. I got friends who live without a mobilephone but still play csgo
- and other games on steam.
- They got a big problem, cause they can't get CSGO-Prime, need to wait
- for anytrade 15days and they don't get theirs items back if they got
- scammed.
- So I think this systems is very good, but it needs an alternative for
- those who don't got a phone.
- The third part is about the hole game issues and how valve handle them.
- In Matchmaking we should have an option to choose the serverlocation we
- want to play on, cause me and my teammates got often the problem that we
- get on an swedish or poland server.
- Our prolbem on this servers is that we got like 60-80ms ping, but the
- enemys got mostly an ping of 5-30ms thats a big differents in and skill
- based fps, cause you need at least an 30ms faster reactiontime if you
- face the enemys AWP. And most likly you got problem with the positioning
- too, cause in your perspectiv you where behind the wall but the enemys
- saw you completely.

- Then there is the cheater problem and I now Valve just released VACnet
- and I think thats a goodstep, but I think that Valve should cooperate
- with PUG-services like ESEA, Faceit and CEVO, cause cheaters know if
- they get banned in this services they can still matchmaking and trade
- their items. So I saw cheater on those PUG-services cheating with
- thounds of dollars inventorys and they can't realy get punished, if they
- get a ban on ESEA they sell their items on Opskins or Bitskins and so
- they lose close to nothing and just buy an other account or gamecopy.
- This is a very big issue, I think if the Anticheats of all them services
- and VAC-net would be connected, VAC-net would even learn very much
- faster.
- And would meen that we would have a playable game.
- On this part I will talk about the hitmodel problem. Since the release
- of the hitmodels in "Operation Bloodhound" there are massive problems
- with shots that should hit, but they don't.
- This is a topic which is discussed a lot on reddit. There are so big
- issues with the hitregistration and the hitmodels. In a game which many
- people play very seriously and even earn money this it a large problem
- like that should be fixed as soon as possible, but I think Valve don't
- even work on those problems, cause we didn't got any updates about
- hitregistration or hitmodels since "bloodhound".
- Not even the server got the update to 128 ticks which a problem in my
- opinion.
- I think 64 ticks are one problem of the hitregistration in matchmaking.
- Even the majors are on 128-tick servers. So why is matchmaking on
- 64-tick servers?
- I asked myself this question hundreds of times, but I just found one
- answer, its cheaper. More ticks need more power of the servers so Valve
- need to buy better server or buy more. So the only reason I found is the
- money. If their is an other reason please let me know.
- In my last part I will compare CSGO with Dota 2, but only on updates and
- E-sports.
- So Dota 2 is a game made by Valve too, thats why I choose it to compare.
- Dota 2 is so much faster evolving than CSGO.
- Just now Dota 2 got 550.000 players online and CSGO got 416.000.
- So I can understand why Dota 2 got the priority to evolve, but I can't
- understand why CSGO doesn't evolve at all.
- The only updates you get on CSGO are bug fixes, new sound, map changes
- or more trade bans.
- This is not what evolving meens to me.
- When I compare it with Dota 2.
- Dota 2 got an new engine, complete new design, the International with
- price pools over 20 million dollars and it has an system to support the
- price pools of majors or even smaller tournaments.
- I don't know if Dota still got the "Spectator pass" or not, but I think
- this is/was a very good system and this should be added to CSGO too.
- So now my wishes for CSGO:
- New maps, Anticheat connection with PUG-Services, hitboxes again or an
- better hitregistration, 128 tick servers for matchmaking, no more banned
- items for trades, an Beta update with the Source 2 engine, community
- testers (if an new update or map should be released just do an open beta
- and players can share their opinion and experience with the new updates)
- and an new homescreen design.
- Thats it.
- I hope why feedback will help to start evolve CSGO in the right way.
- And if there are any new maps to test I would love to be a beta tester.
