- Select Championship Race, wait on character select screen and press X while highlighting Captain Rock on go. Done after crossing the finish line on Haunted Castle (track 5). Don't worry about continues because you won't lose.
- Just go fast. This game is really easy and you should never get hit by items from AI unless you're absurdly unlucky (I don't even think they use items to begin with). Mash X after finishing a race to start the next race asap.
- Controls:
- Accelerate - X
- Brake / Drift - □
- Item, Activate Item Roulette (need coins to do this) - ○
- Reverse (you should never need to use this) - Δ
- Camera Change - L2, R2
- Look Behind - L1
