- Astral Sea: The setting as a whole is filled with a bizarre substance that's intangible for the most part. It's often described as a gas, but is much more akin to 'dark matter' that we have in our own universe. This substance causes the environment to be brightly coloured. The substance, unlike Dark Matter, can still be directly interacted with. It is an 'ocean' of sparkling, intangible energy that separates the different worlds across the setting.
- --it is highly flammable, which means that fire is exceptionally dangerous when traveling out in the void. Most ships resort to melee combat and use minimal magic to prevent disasters while voyaging.
- --It is breathable. This means that there is no 'void' in space.
- --It is due for a proper name later.
- --It is best described as a 'fabric' that separates the different worlds.
- --This gas forms special slipstreams from time to time. Similar to ocean currents, which ships use to help guide them throughout the Astral Sea.
- Firmaments: A Firmament is a fixed space that surrounds a dimension. They are 'bubbles' within the Astral Sea that surround, what is essentially, a planet.
