  1. When I was a child my mom and I would go picnicking a lot, 3 times a week to be exact. I just loved those times. One of my favorite treats she would bring along were Royal's Weenies. When I was 7 they stopped making them, for practically no reason. We later stopped picnicking because it was never that same, for me the weenies were the best part. They were almost addictive, the flavor just made my mouth water. I would beg and beg my mom for them and to go picnicking again, yet to my dismay we never did. I would even cry, begging my mom, but she didn't know what to tell me. Often she would tell me she couldn't do anything about it, but my young mind couldn't comprehend it. I remember she even told me once that she couldn't even have them, and she missed them as much as me. I was sent on a tangent, I screamed even cursing at my mom. She had to restrain me, holding my hands behind my back just to get me to calm down. At that point in time we were in an apartment in New York. We get 3 noise complaints resulting in us being homeless for a short period of time.

  3. 7 years later, when I was 14, I went to the local food market to find canned sausages like Royal's Weenies. In turn reminding me of my cruel past. I bought the sausages and took them home to my mom to ask her about them. When I pulled them out of the bag to show her, her eyes lit up like fireworks. She immediately snatched them from my possession. She gawked at it, in awe she threw it out. I was awestruck, infuriated I asked her reasoning for throwing away my whole past.

  5. That day, she told me one of the most heart wrenching stories of my life. She began the story with telling me that Royal's Weenies was a family owned business and that they made other products under different names to make more money and to hide what their true intentions. The wondrous teenager I was I asked what she meant, but she shushed me and went on. They started out simple with simple ingredients, then realized that pork was too expensive and no one would want to pay up to $10 for Tiny canned sausages. They went to chicken, but it wasn't the flavoring they were looking for.

  7. At this point they almost went bankrupt. When one of their farm hands fell into the meat grinder, before they realized they were compacted and made, and when the owner checked to see if the new recipe tasted good, he was sure in for a treat. He started selling them to stores at a rapid rate and they were actually buying them. Once they finally found out their mistake it was 3 days later and half of their supply was being shipped. At this point they knew if they reported it they would go out of business. They saw how well it was selling so they decided to go along with it. They faked his death with another employee so they would have more meat to supply to the many branches they were associated with.

  9. They then spread their company over many states so if they did get busted only one branch would be caught. They had to rely on finding homeless people and hope they didn't have any diseases. Eventually they started talking to hitmen, they would get money from disposing their bodies. It all ended in a fiery mess when one of the drivers was getting pulled over when he was carrying a body. He kept driving, getting up to 90. Eventually he got overwhelmed with the 4 police behind him, he ran into a tree. The engine lit on fire making the gasoline surrounding the car ignite sending the car into a fire ball.
  10.
  11. Eventually they started doing more research, finding reports of people getting hepatitis c from eating food from their line. The reports were highly regarded as being fake. The owners of the food line were hunted and put on trial for 4 cases of manslaughter and 3 cases of assault.
  12.
  13. The worst part, she says as she tears up, is that your father is one of their victims. He was assassinated for being too much of a threat to their company.
