not nearly as much earthbound crew this year but it's understandable (esp since EB didn't get into the marathon, which is nbd!!!) but i absolutely lovveeedddd hanging out with everyone i met and meeting all these new people and goshhhh i love these events so much. having to go home makes me really emotional but being here also makes me emotional and i'm just really emotional okay. and tired.

this week i lost:
my credit card (not found)
my snes controller (not found)
our room key (found)
fon's hoodie (found)
and i left my car running one time
i am a disaster.

this week i ate at ihop 3 times

this week i bought lateralus, 10000 days, and wish you were here all brand new on cd. 10000 days even came with the weird glasses and everything.

this week we went to see some of fon's favorite bands, astronoid, plini, and tesseract (plini was my favorite), i felt like i was suspended in space with no forces acting on me except for the sound of music

this week i made a fuck ton of mario voice sounds, game grumps references, and SOMEBODEH TOUCHEH MY SPAGHET quotes, and i won a game of mario party after being in 4th for the whole first half

this week i didn't finish a single run of earthbound, didn't complete any manipulation other than onett, and even forfeited my one boogey race, but that's totally okay because that isn't what matters at all!!! i had way too much fun to care.

this week i learned a new speedrun, tetris attack on snes stage clear. which isn't even an rpg. i'm probably never gonna get actually good at the game, but i'll probably set a long term goal of sub 30 as well as just use the game for hand warmups for other runs, or just something to switch to to close a stream out

this week i got semi-inspired to maybe learn a pokemon run of some kind, as well as maybe get back into paper mario ttyd. i doubt those projects will flesh out anytime soon but i really wanna get invested in more Big Names in speedrunning other than EB, to help make my name a little bit more well-known in the community

this week every single person i talked to. all of them. all made a mark on my heart in one way or another and i hope our relationships can continue to grow in whatever way they do. i just love everyone and all of you are so amazing. i will see all of you next year and i also plan to be at sgdq 2018 and agdq 2019. come give me lots of hugs because i need them.
