Osprey and Yang: Prep for the Elim Cup

[OCT WK1 2021]

It was a week after everyone won their respective Advancement cup as everyone including their monsters was at Edelgard's huge ranch/mansion on the eastern side of Ylisse located in Grust. Inside the giant living room as their monsters roam outside. we have Ruby sitting on the couch next to Rhiannon and Pyra watching TV as Edelgard and Mythra is currently looking up something on the former's desktop. Along with them is Blake who's reading a book on the floor. "Man, I'm so happy we all were able to pass on to the next rank!" Ruby stretches her limbs out, pleased with her results from her tourney. "Flora really clutched things out!" "Heh, I could say the same about Akuma." Rhiannon smirks as she crosses her arms and lean back on the couch. "No one was able to defeat him nor make things bad for us in our tourney!"

"You're just lucky me and Hikari wasn't there!" Mythra call out over Edelgard's shoulder with a smirk as she move her hair back. "Hardly anyone was able to hit her barring a small handful..." "Well, if me and Wilhelm was there, I'm sure we would had came up with a plan to beat you." Edelgard responds as she is currently looking up winners of the other nation's Rank E Advancement Cups. "Me and Homura was able to do well enough to win, got some lucky wins, but we take those." Pyra watches the current anime show Ruby put on with a smile, glad she did well last week.

"We won." Blake lazily replies as she lay down and continues to read her book, not caring about the surroundings around her. "Well..we both know that the twins won." Edelgard briefly look over at the article depicting both twins in their separate tourney with both raising a fist in the air with a calm look while their Garus are jumping in the air ecstatic. "OF COURSE, OZZY WON!"
She had to cover her ears from Mythra's shouting as she grips the back of her chair and lean over her with a wide smile. "You would have to be a fool to think that my Osprey would had lost..." Mythra giggles as she lean off of the chair with Edelgard thankful for that since her breasts are huge...

"Apparently, they won with no one hitting their Garus." Blake mentions as she sit up and close her book. "And winning with OHKOs..." All the girls absorbs this into their head and process it.
Rhiannon was interested in battling them, understanding the hype around them and yet was excited at the idea of beating them."(Maybe once I beat them, I can use that as an excuse to come over to their house and...") She crosses her legs to hide her growing arousal for them. Pyra wanted a runback with them since losing to them as she frowns in thought. "(I know me and Homura gotten better since last time...we can beat them for sure!)"

Edelgard, much like Rhiannon, was curious about fighting the twins in battle without the growing lust for them with a pure interest in them as a fellow trainer. "(Would be a very interesting time against them, that's for sure....)" Mythra was adamant that once she beats him, Osprey will notice her and can't help but ask her out "(I can see it now...Osprey will ask me out on the spot with a wide smile and then we can go out on a date and do couple things before we go back to my house and MMMMMMMM)" As she bite her lips in anticipation, Ruby meanwhile was rubbing her chin... "(Would I even be able to beat them? None of them was able to see what my siblings and their monsters was fully capable of...)"

As much as she felt better from her convo with Osprey following the Cave incident...she still had nightmares of them killing those criminals and their Garus killing the Naga so easily. "(I think I need to talk to mom and dad about that, they don't know that me and the twins was with Princess Lucina...who was Marth.)" She still couldn't believe that was Lucina with them even after hearing about the news regarding the Geonyte cave. She thought of whether her siblings learned about it as well, but she figures they wouldn't care about it.

"Regardless, I think a more important topic at hand.." Edelgard turns over in her gamer chair to the girls and assume a business position in her chair with one leg crossed over the other and folded hands. "Mainly, the Elimination Cup at the end of this month to decide who will be the Rank D rep for the Meet next month."

All the girls instantly got more serious as they begin to talk about the other reason why they were all here. Namely, to see who to look out for in the tourney. "So, I'll start with the fact that out of us in here, there's a handful of other trainers to keep an eye on. Starting with Gerome Carroll and his Armor-Dragon, Diez. A formidable opponent, who can be a bit temperamental." "So.." Rhiannon shrugs with a relaxed look. "Just shit-talk him." She replies with an easy answer before naming another one. "One person I think will be annoying is Nora Valkyrie, the girl who I believe have Nohrian blood in her. She have a Rhinoroller named Thor that's fast, hit hard, and have hella stamina on it." She grimaced. "Even tho I won, it was a very annoying battle..."

"She's not too bad..." Rin frowns at Blake who lay down with a casual look as she props her head up on one of her hands. "If your monster have high accuracy and good withering techs..." "Well, sorry...I didn't know Akuma specialized in hitting a lot and withering his foes..." Rin retorts with a sarcastic tone as Blake smirks and place a hand on her chest as she sits up. "And that's why my Akira did quite handily against her...You don't always need to go for KOs when you can just ruin your foe's guts." Frowning at Blake's arrogance, Pyra speaks up to douse her ego. "Well, if I recall correctly, you had issues with her hoshidian boyfriend, Lie Ren and his Pepe, Ming-Tun." Blake sighs and covers her face. "Why did you have to remind me of that loss? I couldn't do jack shit to someone who--" "Did Akira's job, but better?" Pyra giggles as she lean back in her chair. "Admittedly, I found out a strat against those kinds of monsters such as Akira and Ming-Tun...just use your most accurate techs."

"Genius..." Blake mutters sarcastically as Pyra takes over with a finger held up to talk."Well, I think we should need to look out for Jaune and his Freddy.." Mythra raise an eyebrow at this, never once seeing the only male Arc as a threat. "Why?" "I know.." Pyra frowns as she understands her sister's doubt. "But it IS a Suezo and can zap your monster's Guts like crazy if left unchecked.." "I suppose so...but then again." Mythra smirks as she crosses her arms. "Hikari never have to worry about such thing...her guts regen is so damn high."

"True...but what will you do against the likes of someone who don't need to attack your guts?" Rhiannon counters her logic as she scowls. "What if you have to fight against...Pyrrha Nikos? AKA the older cousin of Princess Lucina?" Not only has Mythra went silent with a scowl, but so has everyone else with their own various expressions of sadness and anger. "....Damned that Centaur of hers...It's damn near not fair!" Mythra stomps the ground. "That monster have almost no weaknesses!" "Now now..." Pyra raise her hands to calm everyone down. "It's not like it's perfect...Achilles don't have the best defense or speed on it..." "What good does that matter if it can OHKO everyone in sight with impeccable accuracy and high power and intelligence?" Blake complains as she look up at her friend with a glare and mutters. "Shit's annoying and cheap.."

Edelgard sighs and lean back in her chair.. "I have to admit...even I don't find myself enjoying my battles with her...all of them being losses and some KOs." "I hate that bitch..." Rhiannon mutters to herself with a harsh scowl as Ruby shrugs.. "As much of a threat Nikos is...I think we're forgetting two others."

The girls blink and sighs. "The twins..." Edelgard hangs her head. "How in the hell did we forget about those two." "Hey, wait a min..." Once again, Pyra interrupts. "Are we sure they gonna enter?" This time, the girls all think about it. "I...Well, maybe?" Ruby shrugs with an unsure look as Rin rubs her chin. "Would they even be interested in such a tourney? If one of them win, then they would have to rep Ylisse against Nohr as the Rank D trainer. And they don't seem to be the kind to care about such things."

"......Maybe not the whole 'repping' Ylisse part." Ruby blinks as her eyes widen. "But for the 2nd part of where the king and queen can grant any reasonable wish for the twins?"
"..........." The girls all widen their eyes as they look at each other. "...What the hell would they even want?" Edelgard stands up and pace. "Money? Gadgets? Power?"
"(Maybe they want a harem of females...I would give myself up.)" "(If they wanna have a orgy, I'm all for it.)" Both Rhiannon and Blake were of the same mind as Mythra, rarely when it's concerning Osprey, bring up an idea. "Maybe they want the noble status? After all, when one's a noble such as me, Pyra, and Edelgard, you are granted a lot of cool perks..."

"Perhaps..." Pyra agrees as Ruby tries to come up with whatever Osprey and Yang would want, but fail to do so....

"(What would they even ask for? What could drive them to win the tourney?)"

Back at the King of Fighters '93....The twins were sitting down with their mom, Raven, at the dinner table as she informs them of the meet and the wish they can get. Instantly, they come to the same conclusion.

"Can..."
"...Play..."
"Our....
"MUSIC!!!" they both shout with more emotion than they ever shown since the Geonyte incident as Raven nods. "That's right, you could perhaps play your songs at the castle in front of a live audience."

The twins look at one another and nod with smirks. "...Now we're motivated..." Both of them said at the same time.
"Good..but there's more important things to discuss..." The twins look at their mom who have a serious expression on now. "....We may come across members of the Nabatean Clan." Instantly, both of them stiffens. "....You're sure?" Osprey's hand rakes against the table, carving some of the wood off of it due to a rare showing of nervousness with Raven nodding. "I wouldn't put it past any of them to try and sign up for it."

"..What should we expect from them?" Yang ask with caution in her voice as Raven leans back on her chair with a frown. "They're established in the Nohrian Noblity unlike us, so they have a lot of clout in their names. There's only a small handful of them that I've heard of. They being the Matriarch, Rhea. who's despite being in her 60's look like a 30 year old. Seteth, a member of the Nohrian Court and very, very strict. His daughter, Flayn, who's pretty relaxed for her part. Sitri, Rhea's daughter and 2nd-in-command. And her twins, Byleth and Bereto Eisner. A girl and a boy respectively, those twins being the ones who will more than likely enter the Rank D Nohr Elim-cup."
The twins sat there and absorbed what they heard as they formed questions. "So...What monsters do they have?"Osprey asked first. "And do you think you will have to fight any of them?"
Yang asked as well after Osprey asked first. "They both have Garus like you two....and I'll probably fight the father and husband of the twins and Sitri, Jeralt. A famed nohrian trainer."Raven roll her neck as she stands up and stretches. "With that said, we have time before we fight them, so I expect you 2 to train harder now."

"Yes, mother."
"Yes, mother."

Hearing them reply at the same time makes her nod with approval as she turn towards the door to head back hom. "Then may you not embarrassed yourselves...See you two around." As she leaves out of the house, Osprey turns to yang with a serious look.

"This is it, if we win, we can play our music and make money..." Yang smirks as she nods "Hell yeah...We gotta train hard then."
Osprey nods as they begin to make plans together...
