  1. Quick recap of Day 8 and the recent upgrades due to the whole "HOLY SHIT QM WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST FOUR TO FIVE MONTHS YOU FAGGOT WE FORGOT EVERYTHING" (This will mostly go over the fuckton of miscs and important details since the work orders can be quickly skimmed if necessary in the archives)
  2.
  3. Pre-Shift:
  4. >Had a dream of your past, where you were wandering around a part of the City you have fuzzy memories about. An impromptu fire bomb thrown at a building may or may not have caused a lot of intentional damage. Blood is on your hands.
  5. >You have access to a Fax Machine, which you can use to contact P-Corp Internal Affairs or other companies for a small fee. You also have access to the news, which will be available to skim during the Start and End of each shift. Very important events may be forewarned during shifts, however.
  6. >CHALLENGE QUOTAS are similar to sponsorships but have no failure state. However, only one will typically appear at a time and your rewards will be filtered through vague, non-specific terms. Chosen during the start of a Shift.
  7. >You accepted all of the Sponsorships. R-Company plans on invading and you've been planning with your Security team, and bribing your anomalies to an extent, to fight them off. H-Company is asking you to burn unknown (soon to be revealed) bags, which can only really be done with a high threat anomaly. F-Company has sent a food critic and you have to cook her something. You also have two extended Sponsorships, one that asks for Crosstests (so far, 1 will be complete at the end of Hour 3) and one asks for more C-Extract to be made (just added on to your current Quota)
  8. >NEWS ACQUIRED: "Benedict Baker and Adam Borrelli have still not been found in three years after a heated incident at one of their establishments. Reports say Benedict assaulted the other chef over the declining popularity of their restaurant, with Benedict acting incredibly erratic and aggressive the days before the incident."
  9. >Optional Scrap the Fat quota of 3 Stardust Vials, acquired through Extraction works of Star of the Century.
  10. >You have hired two new employees, R2 (another dog) and Q2 (another Drone)
  11.
  12. "Neither have been seen since. The restaurant closing down shortly after. Passersby claim that the restaurant is still operated by an unidentified android model that's similar to an experimental E-Corp model (medical trials pending). F-Corp has a bounty out for anyone who can find the two missing chefs."
  13.
  14. "The Carceri family refuses to answer why they left District 18 and left for the Wastes. The patriarch's only comment was 'You savages don't know what it's like to raise a kid in this hellhole, do you? I don't want any of you to hurt my kid. TOUCH ONE FUCKING HAIR ON HER AND I'LL SWEAR TO THE FATHER YOU'LL REGRET IT.'
  15.
  16. 'This is concerning behavior. The City is the safest place there can be. We make sure of it.' A R-Company spokeswoman states. 'We have no idea who his daughter even is. We don't have any records of her.'"
  17.
  18. HOUR 1:
  19. >You watched a martial arts VHS tape to acquire a new stance and a new move.
  20. >You informed your two heads, one of Accounting and one of Security, about the incoming invasion. They will be on high alert and if the invasions hit there, they will be less likely to be immediately fatal.
  21. >You had an interview with Ranger Zero. Whether or not she is involved, she has told them to be ruthless to you because of you using anomalies for a lot of your fighting. If you can avoid causalities (which you somehow doubt you can achieve), she'll give you a reward. Also, guns.
  22. >You test out various equipment, such as your Camera Drone and Cryopod. One allows you to see areas that you don't have cameras in, the other buys you precious time when dealing with critically injured employees by slowing down how fast they die.
  23. >You acquired molotov cocktails, tear gas grenades, bullet resistant ponchos, an oil-stained crowbar, a stab resistant vest, and a holy spear from a bundle.
  24. >You tested out a new PARADIGM, "The American Spirit" (A giant, disgusting heart that is still beating. Extracted from Red Blooded American) on Delta. Contact with the item made his arm turn into a giant, massive red claw. He seemed totally unfazed by the critical condition he was in and tried to leave, which took several employees to restrain.
  25. >DETECTIVE ANALYSIS OF BLUEBLOOD AND FLESH (Acquired from a monster Chattering Lack of Common Sense warned/summoned/??? about.): "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BORED OR DISGUSTED OF A SHOW YOU SEE ON TV? REMEMBER, YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE THE CHANNEL. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH TV."
  26.
  27. "YOUR EYES SHOULD NOT BE DISGRACED BY THE DEGENERATE'S LENS OF HUMANITY. BUT IT CAN BE SO MUCH EASIER TO LEAN BACK AND WATCH THE CAR CRASH. IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET UP."
  28.
  29. HOUR 2:
  30. >You gave an untrained employee, Employee P, Awake From Your Nightmares (A bolt action pistol that is connected to Employee G, in more ways than one. Has one bullet and supposedly can destroy anything if fired), to see if combat ability can be transferred. To some extent, it can, but it's not instant.
  31. >You swear you heard someone familiar talking while the gun was being used.
  32. >Lovecraft, a bizarre heart-spider monster made from an experimental drug and a D-Class, is willing to ambush the Invaders from R-Corp out of sheer glee. Hopefully you can reclaim it.
  33. >Employee O2, a bronze android, describes his Hyperfocus ability. When given a task, he is totally unfazed by anything not pertaining to it. Might be a good first responder or fighter, if you can train him properly.
  34. >C-0RA gave you a two hour deadline, at minimum, to plan before the invasion comes around.
  35. >You have various entrances marked out that you plan on using Nice and Quiet (A mildly memetic song that relaxes and tires out anyone who listens to it) and Tear Gas to impact the Invaders. This should hopefully limit any ambushes they do.
  36. >You test American Spirit again. Two to three people can be affected with the power it has of increased physical strength, physical protection, pain immunity, and mild regeneration. Knives do little to no damage, a crowbar caused a light spasm, and the spear only did any real damage after a few whacks with a crowbar to soften it up. Practice attacks from an employee caused notable knockback, even with the target hit wearing armor.
  37. >The Freedom Rangers (a set of performers from R-Corp you hired) agree to perform with Star of the Century (who asked to perform with them in her last work order).
  38. >You have five ETF agents arriving to serve as backup, with your coffee as a security deposit if you fail to pay and you need to pay 6 C-Extract and 6 A-Energy at the end of the shift if you want to keep all of your coffee.
  39. >You extracted 3-4 bullets, various bones, a tooth that can be worn as armor, and buckets on buckets of raw blood and meat from RBA with the help of Art of Flesh
  40.
  41. HOUR 3: IT'S THIS HOUR, WOO.
  42.
  43. Quick refresher on how votes in this /qst/ works, when assigning work orders
  44. >Work orders are separated into Interactions of three categories: Living, Inanimate, and Misc.
  45. >You can assign one employee to each anomaly with a specific work category, with the main six being: Bonding, Nurture, Appease, Subdue, Observe, Extraction. These are explained in the main pastebin.
  46. >For example, a work order vote for Another Day, Another Dollar (an example anomaly) looks like the following: "Assign Employee A to Bond with Another Day Another Dollar. Try to ask it about its past"
  47. >Misc actions are for other non-anomaly work order based actions you wish to do. These can be talking to employees, assigning employees to do tasks around the facility, actions that involve you directly involving yourself with the facility, etc etc. There's no hard limit on what or how many of these you can do.
  48.
  49. Example misc actions would be "Interview Employee N on his past", "Have Employee D, K, L, and Q work on extracting O from the pile of sludge she's stuck in", "desperately pray things won't go wrong", etc etc.
  50. >Due to how complex work order votes can be, instead of taking each vote as a whole, I'll mix and match them depending on what people agree to do the most. So if three people want to do Bonding on Judgement Day despite the rest of their work orders not matching together, then there will be Bonding on Judgement Day. Repeat until all work orders are decided on.
