  1. [05:05] Dillion took this night and made it his first opportunity to travel through the forest alone and find something that helps him become better attuned with the earth element. This was a process that would allow him to learn more about the aspect, thus finding out whatever spells he could pick up from this book.
  2. The first page in the tome was labeled earth attunement, which in Dillion's mind is the bases of how the rest of the spells work. He started to think about how he could achieve the rest of the spells, but it would all come back down to the very first one.
  3. Dillion wasn't sure he quite understood the whole nature and earth element as a whole, but he'd take it one step at a time.
  4.
  5. "Alright, the earth will let me know when it's ready to accept me, so there isn't any reason to rush Dillion."
  6.
  7. Dillion then placed his hand on the ground and closed his eyes; this was seemingly the first step to understanding the element. Dillion took a short slow breath and being clearing his mind.
  8.
  9. (Dillon Endore)
  10. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  11.
  12. [05:41] Dillion felt slight rubble from the ground as if it was calling towards him, and he wasn't sure whether or not he was just still or that really just happened.
  13. The young boy stood up, starting at the ground, and yet he wasn't sure what to even do next. He'd slap his forehead and turn the next page in his book towards the next earth spell, which the book labeled earth bomb.
  14. The rubble could have been a mini earthquake, but Dillion couldn't downplay himself since he'd been working so hard already to progress his magics.
  15.
  16. The boy took a deep breath and place a hand out in from of him, his golden locks blowing in the cold breeze of the night. He took a deep breath and prepared for what was about to happen next.
  17.
  18. "Earth bomb," he said calmly, waiting to see if he was attuned enough to cast even the basics of earth magic.
  19.
  20. More time passes, and it felt useless he didn't know if he said it wrong, or if it was far too earlyto be trying something like that.
  21. Dillion didn't put his arm down, wanting to see if his faith would prevail at this very moment.
  22. (Dillon Endore)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24. Dillion wouldn't expect what happened next, but before he put his hand down, the earth beneath him formed a rather sizeable compact ball of clay that begin floating in front of him.
  25. Dillion was excited, and with a much higher voice, he'd fire the magical compressed rock into the tree.
  26.
  27. "EARTH BOMB GO"
  28.
  29. The compressed rock shot into the tree, causing it to explode, leaving a large hole in the middle of the tree. However, Dillion started to feel a little faint from that basic attack.
  30. People haven't taught him about mana yet, and he likely used a lot trying to form that basic spell.
  31.
  32. Dillion falls to one knee with a smirk on his face, he couldn't help but feel joy from casting his first-ever spell of the earth element. He'd stand back up still a little drained at the moment.
  33.
  34. "That sure was something..."
  35.
  36. He said to himself, deciding that now was probably the right time to take a break from the training and give himself a moment to recover the mana he lost.
  37. (Dillon Endore)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39. Dillion noticed the creature there, and this was a perfect time for him to try out his new earth spell to see if he could best it. This probably wasn't the best idea on his part, but the kid was a little too excited for his own good.
  40. He'd yell out towards the creatures with a calm tone yet excited at the same time. He couldn't help test his skills on something for a better understanding of how they worked.
  41.
  42. Dillion formed clay from the ground and launched it towards the creature unsure of what was about to happen, is his essential magic enough to hold it off? He was about to find out the answer to his question.
  43.
  44. "Earth bomb goes," he said again like before and fire a ball of compressed claw at the creature, hoping to see at least a little of his hard work pay of for something.
  45.
  46. Dillion watched as the compressed claw made its way towards the creature, and the moment of truth was now.
  47. (Dillon Endore)
  48. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  49. Dillion was huffing and panting from that little fight he wasn't aware that create had earth magic as well. He'd fall on the ground hoping another one wouldn't rush him while he recovered his mana from the last battle. He didn't know using such a basic spell could drain him so much.
  50.
  51. "That thing was tough...."
  52.
  53. He'd leave the forest after spending two nights here trying to get a grip on his magic.
  54. Dillion made tremendous progress, and yet he still had a long way to go before he could use any of the big spells at the end of the page. That was something totally different that he'd have to work hard to achieve.
  55.
  56. Dillion slowly made his way back him with his earth tome in hand; he couldn't wait to tell his family members the progress made.
  57. This was exciting for him, and hopefully, they all felt the same, plus he needed to tell his friend that he basically became a novice earth mage.
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59. Dillion came face to face with the creature again, and after spending some time with his earth magic he'd raise his hand up and form four compressed clay balls floating behind him. He'd smile a bit at the amount of growth he's shown so far and with a swift mothing he launches them at the creature holding nothing back.
  60.
  61. "Earth bomb clay compression," he said lightly as the compressed clay battles begin to slam into the earth creature. Dillion takes a few steps back and formed around five this time to assist him in battle.
  62.
  63. He'd land a few of them, and some of them faded away before landing it seems he was due for a bit more practice before having mastery over this basic earth spell.
  64.
  65. Dillion's attunement was far better than a few weeks ago, but the boy still needed to practice with the other spells before he could call himself an earth master.
  66. (Dillon Endore)
  67.
  68. Dillion being panting again, and falling over it seems no matter how hard he tried these little green things would always be tough for him. Dillion noticed he was able to defeat it a lot fast than a few weeks ago, but progress still needed to be made.
  69. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  70. Dillion's mana control was far better than before, and the about of magic he can use from the earth tome increased. Dillion felt like his back was against the wall when more of the creatures started to gang up on him.
  71.
  72. The boy tired to run, but there was no way around them and in that moment he accepted his fate and closed his eyes. Suddenly the ground begin to shake and Dillion shouts out causing earth spikes to come from the ground.
  73.
  74. He'd open his eyes and notice the mess he made, but did his earth mastery increase or was this another person doing? Dillion was really confused yet excited at the same time.
  75.
  76. He'd rush back to a safe place and gather his thoughts.
  77. (Dillon Endore)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79. Dillion thought of a good idea since he wanted to buy one of those expensive staffs in the shop he should explore looking for different things to gather and sell. He seen a rope root in the ground and carelessly rush over towards it only to be tackled by a boar.
  80.
  81. The young mage held his sides after being attack and quickly placed his hand in front of him with a few pants given. "Earth bomb...clay FORMATION!!!!"
  82.
  83. He fire a series of clay balls knocking the boar on the ground he then noticed some leather that peeled from the boar. Dillion picked it up with a smirk and jumped in the air seeing as he got something that was probably worth a decent amount of coins to use.
  84.
  85. He'd then pull the rope-root from the ground and add it to the other items he started to collect.
  86. (Dillon Endore)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88. Dillion rush towards the next boar and attacked them with his clay formation and knocks the boar back, and attempt to summon the spikes of earth from the ground.
  89. The boars seemed to move a lot slower than before. was that due to the earth magic? Dillion couldn't be sure what the earth magic, and having high attunement really did beside having more understanding.
  90.
  91. Dillion took that as his advantage and finish the boars off while shouting his famous line for the spell.
  92.
  93. "Earth bomb, clay formation!"
  94.
  95. After the boar feel so did Dillion the amount of focus it took to survive jsut a normal boar attack was a little to much. He needed to understand the magic just a little more before he could start calling himself the family earth magic.
  96. (Dillon Endore)
  97. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  98. Dillion seen another group of bear walking around a large area, he'd sneak up on the bear and toss a few stones in front of them to get their attention.
  99. he was getting better at training his magical attainment he'd down the next boar and collet either the pork or leather. Dillion manages to leave the area covered in clay and little starches.
  100.
  101. "Huff...huff... This magic is really hard...but I'm getting the hang of it.."
  102.
  103. Dillion chuckles and continues to looking for things to collect and sell to buy his staff.
  104. (Dillon Endore)
  105.
  106. Dillion wasn't going to give up jsut yet he finally found a cave that held a little item he could sell. He was then attacked by some water creature that wasn't to keen on letting him have it.
  107. He got hit with a strong water wave that knocked him down, but his will didn't want him to give up just yet.
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109. Dillion used some compressed clay to knock them back to keep them away from him, he wasn't sure if he'd survive. The boy took the item and rushed out of the cave and tripped and dropped his items.
  110.
  111. "Gahh…this was a little to much, I didn't think something like that shouldn't exist."
  112.
  113. Dillion took a deep breath while trying to recover.
  114. (Dillon Endore)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116. Dillion traveled a long way from his home in an attempt to learn more about earth magic, and his attunement to earth magic. He's been attack more than once by powerful earth creatures at the mines, and while it was painful he managed to learn a thing or two from the creatures.
  117. There earth magic was powerful, and yet it came from more than once place, how could a creature force earth to come though sand? even through some of the ores in the area.
  118.
  119. Dillion was completely shocked at how ell these creatures were attuned with every part of the earth. This was something that Dillion took note of even if he was a bit broken and battered from their attacks.
  120.
  121. "Gahg…how are they able to form the earth like that...…this doesn't make sense...…they are master of the element."
  122.
  123. Dillion took a deep breath and placed the notes in his bag and attempts to mine more of the ore.
  124. (Dillon Endore)
