  2. The hidden door swings inward revealing a way forward. This ten-foot-wide flooded passage is braced at regular intervals by wooden beams. Old torch stubs float on the murky water. The conscripts hear echoes of a battle unfolding ahead.

  4. "So there is more yet...." Kiryuu says as he readies his weapons and takes point but stops, looking to Terra. "Do you still have more of those clones?"

  6. Terra would nod quietly, before closing her eyes and bowing her head. Eventually stepping aside, leaving a clone of herself in place. Looking to the other, she'd speak softly. "Sneak through and investigate what is happening. Try to remain unseen and report back what you find." Then the clone would nod and go forth

  8. Once the clone returns, it would report the following. "There is a doorway immediately to the right that reveals a flooded room that was likely once a cellar, with the collapsed eastern passage marking a staircase that formerly led up to a residence in the city. Further in the sounds of combat intensify. Beyond the hall, a flooded chamber opens up with rough-hewn steps climbing to the south, north, and northeast. The floor buckles up above the water line in the middle of the room, forming a small island. Corpses and doused torches float in the water around the island, atop which two men circle each other with weapons bared. One of the men—a tall, unarmored brute with a greatclub and a scarred face—towers above his opponent but is gravely wounded. The smaller figure is muscular and bare-chested. He clutches a bloody dagger in one hand and a torch in the other, and has no flesh covering his skull. The one with the bloodied dagger appears like the rest of the cultists."
  9. Terra would widen her eyes in that moment, then immediately take to flight and charge ahead. Wasting absolutely no time.

  13. As Kiryuu watches Terra fly off, he turns to the others and motions for them to advance. "Let's get to it."

  17. Aelar grabs one of the Bronze Gems and tosses it in front of him.

  19. Kovgan turns to his skeletons, "Follow me boys, remember Jack to give me that potion if I got down."

  23. After the Bronze Dragon is here the three of them moves up with the group

  25. Aelar aims his shot at the cultis he can see down the hall and fires both shots at them, both hit while he also orders the Bronze Dragon to moves up and attack with its lightning breath and fall back which it does but it seems to no do much.

  27. The robed man with no flesh on his skull skillfully dances out of the lightning blast.

  29. Without hesitation, Tharivol fires on the cultist once with his arquebus, and again with his roaring sidearm.

  31. "Damn you Vanthampur, I see your lackeys have finally arrived." The man appearing to be a cultist disengages from the the club wielding figure and backflips over Terra's head, making a break for the far staircase.

  33. Burned torch stubs litter the floor of this hall, the western end of which is occupied by three six-foot-tall, painted wooden statues. Each statue stands atop a two-foot-high block of red stone, making it look taller and foreboding.

  35. The center statue resembles a heavily armored man whose face is hidden behind the fearsome visor of his helmet. He's painted red except for his right gauntlet, which is black. Clutched in this gauntlet is a blood-red spear, pointed upward. The statue to the north depicts a purple-garbed male noble wearing a harlequin mask and holding a dagger behind his back. The statue to the south portrays a black-robed skeleton with its jaw opened wide and its bony hands outstretched.
  36. The cultist stands facing the doorway flanked by two black skeletons with a strange draconian figure beyond his, kneeling at an altar.
  37. "Welcome. You stand before The Dead Three. Pay homage and be sacrificed!" The cultist smiles unnerving.

  39. Having followed pursuit, the owl would raise her brows and give a low hoot. "Well, I mean. That's sooooooo tempting and all!" She'd say as she'd step up to the skull cultist and pat his shoulder. Offering a click of her beak, she'd then hold up her hands in a thumbs up motion. "And I'll let you keep doing you at the moment, yeap yeap!" And in a misty step of a -poof-, she was out the room and screaming. "RUN YOU DENSE FUCKERS THERE'S MORE AND WE NEED TO GO NOW. RETREAAAAAAT!!" she'd be howling.

  41. Behind Terra, at the top of the stairs the draconian figure bisects the clone with a single slash from his massive cleaver.
  42. "Sacrifices aren't allowed to leave." The figure speaks calmly, almost as if it is bored.
  43. The thickset, wounded man, eyes the conscripts warily as he sinks to his knees, his hand pressed firmly into his side where red colors his tunic.
  44. "Seems....the Flaming...Fists...finally...doing....their damn job." The man wheezes out as he struggles to breath.

  46. Kiryuu let's the comment slide, given his grevious wounds and the current situation, and turns to face the cultist's new allies.

  48. "Are we listening to Terra here or.....? Jack Marrow get that potion to the man on the island over there."
  49. "Rest of you move up."
  50. "Vanthampur! Potion coming you way courtesy of the Lords Alliance ignore the fact its a skeleton delivering it!"

  52. A bewildered look crosses his face as he is being fed a healing potion by a skeleton warrior.

  56. The black skeletons advance, pressing through the bonfire and cutting down the opposing skeletons under Kovgan's command, before pressing on towards the rogue.

  58. Fluffing her feathers out, she was clearly very alarmed as she'd narrowly avoid the attacks of the big black skeleton, fruitlessly returning the attacks in kind before she'd turn her head and cry out to the wounded man. "Get the FUCK OUTTA HERE!!"

  60. Kiryuu moves forward, water sloshing around him as he takes position across from Terra, keeping the black skeleton between them. He flies into a rage as he attacks with two fast swings. And though he misses the first swing the second is a singular strike!

  62. Kovgan is startled by the sudden movement of Molly, having been unable to make it move himself, he fires off a magical bolt from the unstable platform towards the skeletons but it flies high into the wall.

  64. Xavier moves up with molly to get kovgan into battle position, then fires upon the black skeleton.

  66. A Fist of Bane charges down the stair case towards the half-oni's unguarded back, swinging her morningstar with all her might.

  68. Aelar moves up 10 feet behind Heat Stones while Ervinth follows, the Bronze Wyrmling seems to not have its breath ready as he orders it to fall back behind him as he takes a over watch stance.
