Update 29th oct 2018

Haven't done one of these in a while...
I guess just a bit of an update with what I'm spending my time on at the moment, and what the next few months looks like.

As some of you may be aware We've been organising another FF Relay to happen near the end of November, so that's been taking some time up - we're pretty close to finalising the schedule so hopefully look forward to some more info on that soon!

Really I've been spending most of my time developing my "I Wanna" fangame, it's been really nice to have a constant creative outlet, and I've managed to get a perspective where I can keep making progress without stalling constantly like I used to. For some context, I started work on this a little over 2 years ago (Somewhere around ESA 2016 is when the full plan came into focus), and I've been leaving huge gaps in actually doing anything, but for the last 2 months or so I've been making good progress on it, probably edging up to if not over the 50% mark of completion now for what I want to put out as the "full" game. I do have plans to potentially extend past that but they might just fall by the wayside once I get closer to being done.

Speedrunning hasn't really been drawing me back recently. There's still Rabi-Ribi at the top of my list of things I want to do at some point (Specifically ATM BEX), but I just don't feel like really putting the time into it at the moment.

In IRL News I'm pretty intensely looking for a house of my own, somewhere closer to work so I no longer have to commute so much. If I can get this done then I'll gain back a pretty large amount of free time especially on week days, due to not only being able to keep a more natural sleeping schedule, but also in terms of just being home at a reasonable time to do things. If/When this happens I expect I'll probably start looking to begin doing streaming and runs again more regularly, but I just don't have the time or energy at current.

I'm still playing fighting games, but not very much. Part of me wants to continue the grind on BBTAG, but not having a local I can consistently go to and depending on random netplay sessions doesn't really keep me engaged with it. There is a local on sunday evenings which I can't currently go to due to distance/time, but again if I move that becomes a possibility... We'll see what happens.
