  1. I originally did some analytic work for the tag #Makimania back in January. Although the original results were lackluster to say the least, after another look there is much hope for the growth of the tag.
  2.
  3. Originally the obvious pattern was that every user of the tag, minus a couple outliers, had remained within the influence of the creator @Sith9890 and of his friend who runs a blog with a steady following. The concern was that there was not interest in the tag and it was just a habit between friends and/or that interest is just not there. This has since changed as there are several users that have no connection to either the creator or his friend. This tells me that the interest for Maki-exclusive material has increased or has made itself present.

  5. The presence of non-westerners was an indicator for how little interest had spread. The tag has been seen by a number of internationals. The presence of a Taiwanese is not the start of a trend but an indicator for how far it's spread. A big part of the reason why there's few international participants might have to do that they have a similar tag and they tend to refer to the show more often than they do the specific character.
  6.
  7. The only concern that has not subsided was most posts came from people tied to that inner circle. Such a case still holds true and the concern is that it isolates users and can hinder activity.
  8.
  9. I of course have no solution to the concerns, hence why no report the last time. I however am very happy to see how it has progressed and hope to see it continue to grow.
