Hathaway's Flash, also known as Hathaway's Worst Throuple Negotiation

I don't really feel like I can give it an overall rating so far tbh? It is very much an introductory movie into a larger story and until we get a bit further in with regards to themes (or until I read the novel) I'm just gonna be here like 'huh, yeah, that sure is going to go somewhere'. The plot didn't like... blow me away or anything, but I do wanna see what these characters get up to.

IT WAS GORGEOUS THOUGH. This movie has attractive animation for characters DOWN everyone looked so good...

I love Gigi, she's definitely a capital f Female character but she's an unhinged Tomino woman and like, I like that in a girl. Actually guys doing weird shit for a girl is okay if the girl is my type so I can relate to the simping, that's just how it is. I might be biased towards Gigi because she is voiced by Reina Ueda using pretty much the exact inflection she also uses to voice my absolute top best girl of all time though....

Kenneth is out here, winking at Hathaway a lot. These three have a DYNAMIC going and it kept me very engaged it was fun. What the hell my guys.

Best moments:
1. that one guy going 'haha, a ghost of char, what a messed up idea or what' while I can feel the director making direct eye contact with Gundam Unicorn
2. Hathaway going "tell me something I DON'T know" at Amuro's Newtype ghost, that was so unbelievably funny. They had to put Amuro in it so he could be in the trailer, but Hathaway doesn't even care he's just annoyed asdfghjkl
