!.Champing
Champing refers to the act of being "champ". But who is champ? Champ is whomever has claimed the title right after the last champ has decided to retire. If you want to be champ, you must keep these rules in mind.
- In order to claim, you must be the first post with a tripcode (and claiming by saying something like "me") after the last champ has posted "new champ" or anything along those lines.
- Once you're champ, your first job is to make an OU team on Showdown with the first 6 pokemon suggested to you in the thread. If any of the suggestions cannot be used, skip that suggestion and use the next one. An important and handy tip is to use dogars.ml. It has a library of pokemon to help you find the set you need if someone posts a pokemon you don't recognize (like Citizen Snips). Failure to comply to these rules could result in impeachment, which will be discussed later.
- You now battle with the team you've made, don't forget to post the battle link in the thread. This gives any new spectators a way to reach you and also serves as a way to bump the thread. Keeping the thread bumped and up-to-date with battles is an essential part to champing.
- Once you've had enough, you post "new champ". If you want a team, post "new team". Simple.

2. Spectating
You're job as a spectator is to watch the battle and have fun. You have access to a chatroom to talk about the battle with other spectators. That's not all, however. You can also help champ build his team. The rules are simple.
- 1 (one) suggestion per post. You can post the name of a pokemon, or be more specific and post an entire set. You can add rules to tell champ how to use the pokemon (like a Weavile with beat up and dark glasses). You can also use dogars.ml to archive and find certain sets to suggest to champ. Just copy and paste the set or the link to the set.
- If you're suggestion is a bunch of nonsense, it can or will be skipped. No exceptions.
3. Impeaching
Ah yes... Impeachment. A very controversial topic among st the Showderp users. Impeaching is whenever someone decides to take the champing role because the current champ is breaking rules or is a complete asshole. What exactly condones an impeachment however? Here are some "sins", just to list a few.
- Champ is skipping or altering suggestions
- Champ is forfeiting
- Champ isn't putting on a good show (you need other spectators to agree with you on this one if you want to impeach)
- Champ is being an asshole (e.g. turning on modchat)
- Champ isn't linking any battles in thread
