Since she was two and her younger sister was on her way when he decided to pack his bags and take most of the little money they had to run off to his mistress. Upon hearing this devastating news, mi-ok’s mom's side of the family rushed to their aid. lending money, cooking, taking care of her younger sister once she was born and taking care of mi-ok. Mi-ok never knew how she suddenly picked up all of this medical knowledge but her family knows. Her aunt, was an excellent neurosurgeon and let mi-ok read her textbooks on medicine. Once mi-ok was old enough to go to school, she was instantly classified as one of the smartest people in her age group, both by her teacher’s and peers. Which lead to some bullying by jealous classmates. Upon result, she only had a small group of friends, ones who she knew she could trust, as she eventually grew to have major trust issues.

- personality: due to her trust issues, she’s always cautious when meeting new people and often advises the other members of her concerns. Whenever one of the members attempts something stupid, she instantly gives them a long lecture on why they shouldn’t have done it. Unless, it’s a serious mistake which resulted in them to have injuries, she caters to those first, and acting almost like a mother. But once they’re better she starts to scold them even more she would if they hadn’t gotten any injuries. The members wouldn’t even be able to say anything as she would be sputtering what seemed to be 170 words per second. However, if someone majorly messed with her she wouldn’t be afraid to square up, as she knew all of the major arteries and pressure points on the human and would use that to her advantage by using a knife, or if needed a gun. But she prefers not to get involved with violence as that’s the other members job. Mi-ok can sometimes get insecure and when that happens, she doesn’t let it affect her work, but in her free time, she ponders over it. Mi-ok believes that if you don’t put your all into anything, why do it at all? She takes that and adds it to her work ethic, being a radiologist.

- how did they meet:  mi-ok was sent to the grocery store to get food when she saw him trying to steal some food. She persuaded him not to steal and they had each other lingering on their minds after parting ways.
- their first impressions: he thought she was snobby but saw her wear down clothes and gained a bit of respect for her. She understood why he had to steal and she was more understanding.
