Dark Souls 2: Hardcore Mode Bingo - Rules & FAQ (2nd event)

DARK SOULS 2: HARDCORE MODE BINGO

THE SUMMARY:
This Saturday at 18:00 GMT, wesa gonna do the 2nd Dark Souls Hardcore Bingathalon.
The basic gist of it is this: You have to complete two lines of a bingo card (randomly generated here (http://herpderp.com/bingoII.html) without dying. If you die, you get a new card, delete your character, and start again.
The event is also open to everyone who can stream (for verification + racebot purposes); it doesn't matter if you have 3 followers or 30,000.


BASIC RULES:
* Permadeath, obviously. A death means deleting your entire character and starting again from the "New Game" prompt.
* Dying also means starting a new bingo card. This is done by the "New Card" button rather than random generation, since seeds are always in the same order.
* Completing any TWO lines (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) counts as a win.
* Again, you don't have to finish the game! Just beat your lines and report in.
* The race starts from the "New Game" prompt in the Main Menu.
* No obvious glitching or sequence breaking. This means itemparries, soul duping, and playing on an unpatched version of the game for OP Hexes\Binoboost. The game must be updated to the latest version.
* No quit outs. The race is single segment; alt-f4 is not allowed. If you need to escape use the tools the game gives you (i.e. homeward bones, darksign).
* No rerolling your card unless you die. No 'accidental' falls in Things Betwixt either.
* Knowing where everything is located isn't part of the challenge, so you can use wikis and the Dark Souls II Cheat Sheet (http://smcnabb.github.io/dark-souls-2-cheat-sheet/)
* Offline mode only. To go into offline mode on PC you got 2 options:
1. Go into 'Offline Mode' on Steam. Top menu > Steam > Go Offline.
2. Get a firewall and let it ask for permission to access the internet every time Dark Souls II starts (if this sounds like Chinese to you -and you don't speak Chinese :P- then don't bother).


SITUATIONAL RULES:
* Dying under any circumstances counts. No rings of soul\life protection.
* Any card that tells you to only/never use X takes affect after character creation. (EG: to never use armour, take it off before exiting the Firekeeper's Dwelling, and Axes only means you cannot attack anything without an Axe).
* Weapon only requirements do not block use of shields, but they block use of ALL spells, pyromancies, and miracles (since those require a catalyst). BONUS RULE: Disc chime can only be used as a shield.
* No using DLC content. This includes pre-purchase weapons.
* You can use summons for bosses. Specific summoning objectives only require you to summon them, black crystalling out afterwards is okay.
* No soul vessel respecs.
 * Estus/Darksign do not count as consumables for 'no consumables' (Estus has its own category).


JUST FOR PARTICIPANTS: BINGOBOT AND YOU:
We have ourselves a bingobot, made by Hanfpflanze and edited by Miltrivd.
The bot will autojoin your channel, assuming you gave your info to the event organiser, and will lurk there until the end. It works with the following interactions:

FAQ:
1. Says I need to have a boss soul, can I consume it?
- No, all objectives require you to have the items in your inventory to count as a completed objective.

2. Can I get the 'Token of Spite' through PvP?
- No, you are supposed to be playing offline and need to pick up the Token of Spite in the Huntsman's Copse.

3. It says 'Finish with 150000 souls', in my Soul Memory? What if I have more?
- All objectives are "at least X", so you need "at least 150000 souls and they have to be in your soul counter (lower right), your Soul Memory doesn't count.

4. Known typos:
- 'Obtain Idol's Charm' should be ''Obtain Idol's Chime'.
- 'Summon Lucatiel (Lost Bastille)' should be 'Summon Lucatiel (Sinner's Rise)'.
- 'Get +5 Estus Flask' should be 'Get 5 Estus charges'.
