You are a soldier trying to survive in a world filled with infected zombies everywhere. You have an automatic rifle and a grenade. Your unit lost a lot of men when the infection broke, but you've managed to keep the small town you're stationed near safe for now. You look over the town and think about how it was once full of life before the infected came. Now there's just a few people left alive here, and they're all running for their lives from those things that run at them like bullets through wet paper.


> You investigate the base and assess the supplies.
You head towards the base, which is still intact despite the fact that most of your team has been killed or turned into mindless abominations. The place looks deserted though, so you don't see why it would be.


> You tell your team to ready their guns just in case of more zombies.
You raise your hand and order your team to do likewise. They obey immediately, as does the rest of the town. You then take out a couple of vehicles and start firing away at whatever is attacking you.
It doesn't take long before you come across some sort of abandoned military base. You walk inside and find that it's completely empty save for a few dead soldiers lying on the ground.


> You say "bob, check the bodies to make sure they are dead"
You call out to Bob who walks up to the corpses and checks them for signs of life. He nods his head in confirmation and says "yes sir." You nod back at him and continue walking.


> You say "so, are they dead?"
You ask Bob if he thinks the dead men are all the ones you lost during your last mission.
He shakes his head and says "no, I'm sorry sir, but I can only tell you this much. There were four of us on that mission and we died when the virus hit us."


> You say "you are dead? how it's possible"
You are speechless for a moment, but then you remember that you saw him die in front of you. You also recall seeing the other two men turn into mindless monsters after they died.


> You say "bob, are you zombie?"
You call out to Bob again, but this time he answers back. This time however, he seems more surprised than anything else.
"No, no I am not," he says. "I'm human."

You shake your head and sigh.


> You say "what's this place called bob? also what kind of equipment we have?"
You ask Bob about the name of the base and where exactly you are. He tells you that it's called Fort Timons and that its located somewhere near Colorado Springs. "What kind of equipment do we have?"
you ask.

Bob replies with "well, we have everything from rifles to shotguns to pistols. We even got some grenades here too."


> You say "are the guns loaded in a case shit hits the fan?"
You ask Bob if there are any weapons that aren't normally carried around by people like rifles or shotguns.
He replies that yes, most of the weapons are locked in cases.


> You say "open the cases and distribute weapons to our troops"
You call out to Bob once more, but this time he answers back. "Yes sir, we will open the cases as soon as possible." You nod and begin distributing weapons among your team members.


> You recall your name and how you ended up in command.
You look over at your watch and realize that you haven't had enough sleep yet. You decide to go see if anyone is still awake so you can get some rest before tomorrow's mission.
