Class Specific

What are your stat priorities for each spec that you raid with? How do you prioritize what gear you look to obtain?

For destro, I play with Mastery > crit > haste, for affliction/demo I'd play with mastery > haste > crit
At this point I'm just looking for gear with mastery as a base stat (only need thok's ring as of now) and BBoY, in general most pieces that aren't suited for a lock as well
(haste/hit or haste crit, for example) would be much better suited for a mage or priest, etc, so I would let those pass if I had the choice unless they were really major ilevel upgrades

What is your rotation for your main raiding spec? How would you change your rotation under extenuating circumstances eg; wind lord mal'jarak. (Go Into As Much Detail As Possible)

Incinerate, immolate, conflagrate, rain of fire (3+ targets), and fel flame on Thok as ember generators, Fire and Brimstone, Chaos Bolt, Shadowburn, and ember tap (only under extreme duress)
I'll throw havoc in on cd when applicable, using it to generate embers if the extra target doesn't need to die (at least not immediately) or one Chaos Bolt or as many shadowburns as possible
if one is in execute range

Explain your cooldowns to us, both personal and raid wide cooldowns. The more detail the better. Give us some prime examples of uses for each of your cooldowns, for example a rogue's smokebomb on gara'jal.

Don't really have raid wide CDs unless you count gateways, Shadowfury is a good aoe stun for situational stuff like Jade Serpent intermission on Garrosh. Soulstone good for a battle rez, although
truth be told I'd rather have mine preemptively used on someone essential to the raid so they could get up immediately.

As far as personals go it depends on the fight and talent setup, the default stuff I run with is soul link+grimoire of sacrifice these days, and I'll sacrifice a felhunter if I need an interrupt,
otherwise a voidwalker for Shadow Bulwark for a personal Cry in a pinch, works great for stuff like malkorok if I get low from soaking shit, since CDs that raise max health will add to your pool
under the shield. Also have Unending Resolve, which I glyph for CD on thok but otherwise use if strong personals are called for or if I know I'm not going to make it out of something (For example,
I can use bulwark+unglyphed Unending Resolve to survive an annihilate smash on heroic Garrosh, same for Breath of Y'shaarj)

No, not if it serves the raid's purposes, or if I don't need anything from it etc.

Are you able to take and improve upon harsh criticism? (Please elaborate)

As long as it's constructive, yes. If someone's ripping me a new asshole just to be an prick then I might have a problem with it


Alts

Raiding on alts is mandatory.  Do you see any issues with this?

No, I'd personally really like to raid on at least one alt, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so.

If you do not have a level 90 alt that is raid ready, how long do you think it will take you to have one ready?

However long it takes to trudge through the legendary questline I suppose.

Are you interested in having an alt in a more casual raid setting on off nights? (Optional)

Depends on the days/times of the alt group, but in general yes.


Raiding Experience


What past raiding experience do you have? Please list everything that you have done, going back as far as you can remember.

First started raiding about 3 months before the end of ToT, got to 10/13H before the second group in Divinity broke up, joined Demise on KT and got to 11/14H before
Fooga called it quits and finished out the tier with Intent

Guild History


Please tell us about your past history in other guilds.

Accepted  (May2012-April2013)  - placeholder guild owned by the friend that dragged me into this game, left to join first raiding guild

Aftermath (Apr2013-July 2013)  - first raiding guild, managed to get my UVLS trinket on first Lei Shen kill, got into demo and got hooked on raiding, so to speak.
                                 Got to 3/13H and ended up leaving because progression stalled due to extreme attendance issues

Divinity  (Jul2013-Aug  2013)  - first real progression group, in their second/alt 10 man. Learned a lot about raiding and got to 10/13H, then group was disbanded
                                 as 5.4 got near because RL didn't want his players trying to progress in two groups at once

Midnight  (Aug2013-Sept 2013)  - after Divinity's second group broke up I joined MCo to try to help them kill Lei Shen before 5.4 was released, two months later
Company                          it wasn't dead (mostly due to poor management skills and not expecting players to pull their weight) left after first week of 5.4
                                 to join Demise

Demise    (Sep2013-Oct  2013)  - Applied to and joined Demise after the first week of 5.4, got to 11/14H with them before Foogacity (our raid leader) decided it
                                 was time to call it quits because wow was intruding too much on his professional life

Intent    (Nov2013-  present)  - Joined Intent the week after Demise broke up, cleared 14/14H with them and am now browsing to try out new raid environments before
                                 WoD, would like to be a bit closer to the bleeding edge of progression without raiding 7 nights a week

We raid Sunday-Thursday. Raids start at 8:00 PM Eastern and end at 12:00 AM Eastern. During PROGRESSION we may start an hour early and finish 1-2 hours later. Do you see any problems making these times and committing to our progression raiding schedule?

Not unless I get scheduled extra days at work since I work evenings, but this only usually happens around major holidays (Christmas, New Year's, 4th of July, etc)

What is your average FPS and Latency in a 25 raid environment? Do you lag on spell intensive fights?

FPS locked to 60 and latency between 40 and 140 depending on what direction the wind is blowing, doesn't affect things too much.
