Edryn Children Encounter

You're [walking] through a busy Tel'Adre street, when a sudden high-pitched shout from behind catches your attention. Turning around, you see Edryn waving at you from across the road. But that's odd, the voice sounded a lot younger than—

You feel a sudden impact as a young centaur rushes up to you excitedly and almost causes a collision in the process, [his] forelegs finding purchase on your [if (tallness > 48) hips|shoulders]. It's quite the shock initially, but when you see that [he] has your eyes, everything clicks into place. Your [son] starts to jabber excitedly in a squeaky voice, and though the words are a bit too fast to make much of anything out, the emotion behind them is clear enough—your [son] is overjoyed to see you, so excited that [he] can't contain it in the slightest.

Edryn sidles up to you and manages to get a kiss in around your delighted child. [say: Just having a walk with the kid,] she says, [say: but it's always nice to run into you.]

It [if (cor < 50) [i: is] nice|isn't disagreeable] to see your kid [if (cor < 50) growing up|once in a while]. You take a long look at [him] for good measure. [His] hair is still very short, and [his] eyes are so big that you can hardly believe they fit [him], but it just makes [him] all the cuter. A smattering of white dots cover [his] flank, and a little [if (boy) vest|dress] graces [his] young form. Overall, [he] looks a lot like Edryn, but it's comforting to recognize your own familiar features in your child.

However, you're caught completely off guard when your little angel stretches [his] neck up and plants a kiss on your lips. It's an innocent enough gesture, but your head still pulls back [if (cor < 50) in surprise|reflexively], and Edryn lets out a chuckle as the foal looks at you with confusion.

[say: Alright now, sweetie,] the [if (girl) older] centauress says. [say: We kiss people like [Daddy] on the cheek, remember?]

[say: But that's how " + player.mf("[i: Mommy] kisses Daddy", "[i: you] kiss Mommy") + "!]

Edryn simply chuckles and takes her child by the hand before turning to you. [say: Well it was great to see you, [name]. Catch you around?]

[say: Bye, [Daddy]!] your child chimes in, [his] little feet clipping and clopping on the cobblestone as [he] bounces in place.

You wave to the couple and say your goodbyes as Edryn starts to lead your [son] off into the city. [He] seems sad to leave you so soon, but [he] still can't help shooting you smiles over [his] shoulder as [he] slowly disappears into the crowd.
