「A scorching hot heat wave has come from Fighter Stella in the center, covering the ring! Fighter Kurogane has nowhere to run! He’s suddenly cornered!」

「Not quite, please look!」

The one who called that out was commentator Kaieda.

He’d noticed.

Before the wave of heat that would cover the ring, Ikki stood his ground, dropping low to the floor.

Then, from that low stance, Ikki fired out-

“Saigeki!”

Ikki kicked off the ground hard, flying forward straight into the wave of heat.

「F, Fighter Kurogane has charged into Bahamut Howl of his own accord! What is he thinking!?!?」

His decision left the commentator bewildered. However-

「No, this is the correct decision.」

「Kaieda Sensei!?!?」

「If he controls the speed himself and charges in, he can minimize the time spent in contact with the heat wave, and thus minimize the damage too. Look carefully. Fighter Kurogane is pushing into Bahamut Howl with his sword perpendicular to the heat wave. By doing so he is lowering the surface area that contacts the wave. With this, he can break through without a problem!」

Just as Kaieda said, Ikki thrust himself into the heat wave with Saigeki.

They crossed for an instant. With the damage limited to some singed hair, Ikki flew straight towards the source of the wave, aiming for Stella like an arrow.

He thrust Intetsu into her heart!
