  1.
  2. To host a Cursed Halo server first download these files:
  3.
  4. http://devieth.halonet.net/downloads/halo-server/Cursed%20Halo%20CE%20Server.zip (Thanks @Devieth )
  5.
  6. - Install them somewhere else than where Halo is installed.
  7.
  8. - Go and port-forward your router for Halo. Find the guide here: https://portforward.com/
  9.
  10. - Once you've done that you can launch the server from run.cmd
  11.
  12. - Optional, if you want people to join you can give them the IP in the #looking-for-game channel. Find your IP here: https://whatismyipaddress.com/
  13.
  14. NOTE: If after these steps other people can't connect your router may have additional security settings. All routers are different so we likely won't be able to debug it for you. If you have issues connecting, check the topic below.
  15.
  16.
  17. If you want to play on your server yourself you will have to change your client's ports:
  18.
  19. - Open the game
  20.
  21. - Go to settings->Network Setup
  22.
  23. - Change the server and client port to anything else. My suggestions are: 2322, 2333 (They just shouldn't be the same as the server ports)
  24.
  25. You should be able to just join your server from the list after this.
