- Tortilla de patata; [4-5 rations]
- variation on how much you want to make
- -Olive oil preferably
- -potato *5-6
- -egg *8-10.
- -salt
- -pan
- -15 min
- Do:
- step 1, cut the potatoes in medium chunks
- step 2, fry them , not enough for french fries but cooked, use a fork to see how well they are cooked (3-4min~)
- step 2.1, When taking them out put them in a colander so they sweat the oil
- step 3, crush the potatoes into a paste,can be a chunky paste, keep an eye out for any raw potatoes that escaped cooking
- step 4,Salt it
- step 5, scramble the eggs, or whatever you call it, beat them up
- step 6,Put the eggs and the paste into the same bowl and mix a bit
- step 7,put a pan with a bit of oil on the fire and spread the oil
- step 8,Put all in there (3-4min)
- step 9.1,Use a wooden spoon so it won't stick to the edges
- step 10,To flip it so boths sides cook,put a plate on top of the pan,flip,and slide it back in (2-3min depending of intended juiciness)
- step 11,Eat
- Variations:
- -Instead of making a paste with medium fried chunks , cut and fry thin slices and use those directly
- -Fry onion with the potato
- -I have seen people put plain Lay's on the beaten eggs until they were soaked and use that as a mix, tasted okay, local fried potatoes
- would be fine
- -Consume with bread, like a sandwich, but thick
- -Consume with serrano ham on the side because it's the best meat ever made
- -Can be eaten cold or hot, both good
- -Add spices to the eggs before the mix
- -Never add ketchup or you will bring shame on your kitchen
- -Some people add cheese to the mix for some reason , these people need their medication
- -If anyone uses butter for frying i will personally shoot them
- -If anyone claims they have a vegan variation it's garbage
- WARNING:This shit goes bad real fast, it will last 20h in the open and 2 days max in the shelter of your fridge
