  1. [18:01] <CT> After moving across the clearing from a bit before, you find yourself coming across another clearing. This seems to be a square-ish landscape made up entirely of perfect grey hexagon-shaped stones. Clearly, nothing bad will happen here. In the centre, stands a confused-looking imp.

  3. [18:01] <Anastasia_Locke> "Huh. This isn't ominous terrain at all."
  4. [18:01] <Thalix> Ask the imp if he is confused and why
  5. [18:02] <CT> Your party of ROVING, MERRY ADVENTURERS move onto the hexagon clearing to approach the imp and ask him why he is confused.
  6. [18:03] <CT> He looks like a fairly basic imp, without any special prototypings or anything. He is almost the same colour as the stones, a fair bit darker. His face looks like a ditto.
  7. [18:03] <CT> As you ask him why he is confused, he starts screaming, but not out of pain or anything, just sort of treating it as if it were a language. Weird.
  8. [18:03] <Kirk_Stevens> i use beast tongue to talk to him
  9. [18:04] <Kirk_Stevens> and ask him what's going on
  10. [18:04] <CT> The beast tongue suggests that the imp is saying, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGHHHHH"
  11. [18:05] <Kirk_Stevens> i tell him to stop screaming and use words
  12. [18:05] <CT> The imp turns to face you and screams some more. Nothing in his body language seems to suggest anything out of the usual.
  13. [18:06] * Anastasia_Locke starts searching her sylladex for something to shut it up with
  14. [18:06] <Kirk_Stevens> i slap him across the face to get him to stop screaming
  15. [18:06] <CT> As soon as you slap it across the face, it collapses into the ground, almost invisible.
  16. [18:07] <Anastasia_Locke> "Uh."
  17. [18:07] <Kirk_Stevens> "Huh. I wonder what that was about."
  18. [18:07] <Thalix> "Well uhh, what?"
  19. [18:07] <Anastasia_Locke> "Is it dead?"
  20. [18:07] <CT> The spaces between the rocks begin to glow a cyan blue, and the two layers of hexagons on the edges of the square suddenly shoot up into the sky, higher than any of you could climb.
  21. [18:07] <Anastasia_Locke> "Oh dear."
  22. [18:07] <CT> The rock faces begin to adjust randomly between raising and lowering.
  23. [18:08] * Anastasia_Locke casts Lift and absconds into the air
  24. [18:09] <CT> The rock faces on the sides begin to shoot into each other, blocking off escape from above.

  26. [18:09] <CT> The hexagons stop glowing and adjusting.

  28. [18:10] <CT> On the other side of the field, on the tallest pillar, stands the imp in the same position.
