  5. [09:23am] Alivi: When you get there, there is a man and a woman there. The woman seems to be some sort of an assistant and hands the agents files as they enter. The man straightens his tie as he waits for the agents to file in.

  7. [09:24am] Aphex_: Hans reads as well.
  8. [09:24am] DSJ: Amadeo also does!
  9. [09:24am] Alivi: There seems to be a picture of one of the nearby towns. Pretty accessible by the rail on site. There are various reports of some type of ghost or poltergiest causing trouble!

  11. [09:25am] LadyKatie: Sandra greets the other agents and reads.
  12. [09:26am] Fae: Anything unusual for a ghost, or standard fare?
  13. [09:26am] Alivi: What started as normal possessions, moving items, typical hauntings have progressed to a couple of deaths. 7 to be exact killed in all various manners.
  14. [09:27am] DSJ: Would those happen to be related to the seven deadly sins?
  15. [09:27am] Alivi: no. But seems to be related to their occupations. For example one was a chef who burned to death in his kitchen. A sailor whose ship’s anchor fell on him.
  16. [09:27am] DSJ: "So, any idea on how to contain this thing?"
  17. [09:29am] Alivi: “…Well that’s what we were hoping you’d know.” The man says looking at the team, “Optimally we want it contained of course. But if it must be dystroyed then you might have to default to that…” The woman shifts uncomfortably.
  18. [09:31am] Alivi: “We have arranged for a train to depart the depot when you are ready. All things considered this anomaly seems to be procedure. Should be an easy mission.”
  19. [09:33am] Fae: "A binding circle might work if we can catch it. Some salt..."
  20. [09:33am] Fae: Evan eyes the woman. ~Now what are you thinking...~
  21. [09:34am] Alivi: She rocks on her heels a bit, seems to be trying to distract herself by looking at some sort of planner.
  22. [09:34am] Fae: "...Do you have any information that might help us, ma'am?"
  23. [09:36am] Alivi: She looks up and then glances to her planner again. “Nothing more than is already in your files, Agent.”

  29. [09:38am] Alivi: She is telling the truth but somehow even that seems to be tinged with a little bending.
  30. [09:39am] Fae: ~Hmmm~ Evan brings the file with him. He'll try to read between the lines on the way over.
  31. [09:40am] DSJ: Amadeo gets his things together and heads to the train station. Today, he scares a ghost.
  32. [09:41am] Alivi: The train is there and the doors are open on the 5th compartment. Seems to be a 6 car train.
  33. [09:43am] LadyKatie: Sandra walks with Hans to the train I guess?
  34. [09:44am] Fae: As does Evan?

  39. [09:46am] Alivi: Yep once you all get whatever gear you need the train is there waiting for people to board. Once everyone is in and seated the train would get moving. It will take approx 2 hours to get to the town you all have time to kill. The car is pretty nice. Lots of windows and red fabric curtains. Racks for luggage and lots of empty space since ya’ll are the only ones there.

  41. [09:47am] Alivi: There seems to be some sort of Intercom near the door leading to Car 5. Emergency brake is located near the door to Car 6.

  43. [09:47am] Alivi: The train pulls out and you all are now in the train. Riding along.

  61. [09:52am] Alivi: The Train suddenly comes to a screeching and shuddering halt! The force of the sudden stop causes Evan to be thrown! He gets quite the bruise when he hits the floor. The rest of you managed to sucessfully brace yourselves.

  66. [09:54am] Alivi: The lights of the compartment begin to flicker slightly before going dark. It seems darker outside now. And the lights turn on once again. They have a slightly grey tinge to it rather than the earlier warm glow. The train begins to move again, although at quite the fast pace.

  89. [10:05am] Fae: And then he begins trying to do an exorcism a la the Anti-Occult Kit.

  91. [10:05am] Fae: "Nope, go ahead."
  92. [10:06am] Fae: "Likely to get us killed as anything else at this point."

  95. [10:06am] Alivi: The train continues to move at the fast speed and the intercom begins to crackle.

  100. [10:09am] Alivi: The lights begin to turn warm again. And the blood begins to draw back. But pretty much it seems like the actual entity is not in this compartment only a part of it is. [N.O.T F.A.I.R] is written before the writing vanishes all together. The train is still moving quickly. But the compartment at least looks normal again save for the stains on the seat.

  128. [10:24am] Alivi: Alright. The last car of the train. When you all enter you notice it is extremely cold def past 0 C if not by 10 degrees or so. There is a metal ladder that likely leads to the roof. But the ladder runs into a door. You’d have to climb it to test to see if it can be opened. There is no one here.

  130. [10:25am] Fae: Is the ghost presence still here?
  131. [10:26am] DSJ: "Evan, you know magic-science stuff, right? Is there any reason why ghosts manipulate temperature."
  132. [10:26am] Alivi: traces of it is. But it isn’t in control. Seems to be that the ghost has changed the train. And then left this compartment.
  133. [10:28am] Fae: "A f-few actually. In thaumic-defficient environments ghosts sometimes steal thermal energy from their surroundings as a power supplement. It's also used by some malevolent ghosts for disorienting and putting prey on edge, and in some extreme cases to induce hypothermia."

  136. [10:29am] Fae: "Because some ghosts also just cause random fluctuations in reality just by being there and temperature is one of the most easily-altered variables? But I agree, I don't think we can do much here. Let's move towards the front."
  137. [10:30am] Fae: "And I wouldn't advise the ladder. If this thing likes killing people, putting ourselves up on the train roof isn't the best idea."

Towards the end of the compartment there is a shimmering crystal this time a pale blue color. It is in some sort of protective bubble. That means things can still be fixed! Perception.

  549. [12:34pm] Alivi: Once he is fully awake, he will help guide Evan into fully stopping the train. And with that things are over.
