Discord and Xbox are partnering to give gamers more ways to connect across PC and consoles. Now you will be able to share what you are playing on Xbox directly in your Discord profile. If you’re playing games such as Sea of Thieves on your Xbox, you can now choose to give your friends on Discord the ability to see this and decide whether they want to jump in and join you.

This will be available to Xbox Insiders soon, and the worldwide launch will be available for all users soon after.

How to Connect

From the Discord app on PC or on a mobile device, in the coming weeks you will see an option to link your Xbox account with your Discord account through the Connections tab under User Settings. Click on the Xbox Live option and sign in to your account. After enabling permission, your accounts will be linked.

After following these simple steps, your accounts will be linked and your Xbox Live game presence can be shared across Discord, enabling friends and users in your Discord servers to decide whether they want to hop on their xbox and join you
