- So Much Time on My Hands Edition
- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- The grand finals of the Tetris Attack tournament are set! In a rematch of the 2016 tournament’s winners finals, I will be taking on FFRPro21 for bragging rights. I won the last Puzzle League series tournament (PPL 2017) and FFR won the last Tetris Attack tournament. The match looks to be scheduled for next week on Puzzle General. Follow @PuzzleGeneral for the official match announcement. I will pretend that puzzle supremacy is on the line with this one, though I still have problems with Panel Attack level 10 compared to Tetris Attack level 10.
- Speaking of, the Panel Attack Fall Seasonal tournament this past weekend was okay. I didn’t win anything of worth and I still need to get the license plate of the Diamond-level truck that ran over me, but I had enough fun with it that I am going to start participating in more of the biweekly tournaments, the next of which being this weekend (I think), so I can practice on level 10. I might even stream my own matches. Check out the Tetris Attack Online server at discord.panelattack.com!
- In other news, since I was already getting two days off of work for Thanksgiving, I decided to take off this entire week, leaving me with a lot more time on my hands to do things. I spent quite a bit of last night adding more stream alerts. I even made a list of all my unique alerts on my stream incentives page: https://pastebin.com/QhF4qTGL. I still have more I want to add because memes.
- As for constructive things to do during this time off, I still haven’t decided what else to do besides Tetris Attack runs. Between starting to route V-Hard, continuing my incentive play of Onimusha Tactics, trying to get the other Tetris Attack Vs. records, and several other things I’m sure I said I was going to do last week that I’ve now forgotten, I’ve got quite a bit to consider. I will either get a lot done or do absolutely nothing.
- In other gaming news, I am now spending my downtime playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship 2006. Somehow I had never gotten around to that one when I was still big into the physical card game. It feels like the most polished simulation on the GBA, but it also feels devoid of any personality, probably because it hardly has any connection to any anime series like most of the others do. I hope this game will surprise me.
- In real life news, it’s finally time to retire my old router. Lately, my #PoopNet has behaved the best it has in months, but the router no longer allows me to get the speed that I am paying my cable company for. The best reason for me to upgrade is because the last update for the firmware was 4 1/2 years ago. That is no typo. I’m sure there will be some Black Friday deal for me to snag for a good one.
