My IC name is (was?) Siarica Aylina. Over 100 days ago, I have been banned for a break of the spying rules, considered as "hacking" by several people. As you may imagine, my deepest wish would be to be allowed to come back to SWC.

As a reminder, I have been banned for generating a full Black Sun forums memberlist thanks to a flaw in the private messages feature, allowing me to see the names of the members by changing a single digit in the URL.

First of all, I wish to give my apologies to all of you, and to SWC as a whole. At no point I imaginated that what I was doing was breaking the rules, but thanks to the explanations of several ASims (Jenos and Arete), I understood that what I did wasn't allowed. I studied database during several years, and didn't realized that what was child's play to my eyes could be considered as unacceptable in a game like SWC, where most of the players aren't fluent with databases or advanced php features. I acted out of pride, believing that my knowledge could open a lot of doors to me... and instead it closed my door to SWC.

I have done my best to limit the damages: the extracted memberlist has never been released to anyone, and I fully deleted it from my computer, including all raw data. I have no traces of it anymore, and no one has been in contact with the database. In fact, it is as if this event never happened: all files deleted, and no IC consequences at all, since nobody accessed this memberlist. I am the only one responsible of this situation, and the only one who suffered of this.

I am wishing to do anything you would ask of me in order to redeem myself. Instead of starting a vendetta, or foolishly trying to come back through illegal multi-accounts, I respected your decision, and even did my best to enhance the game, by reporting all the bugs I was able to find without needing to be logged in. I will accept any of your decision, and will never argue against your word. My future in SWC is in your hands.

I am ready to accept any extra punishment coming from you: assets and CP removal, losing all hopes to ever become one day Force Sensitive, huge in-game restrictions... I will accept it without discussing. As I said in previous letters, I would love to keep only two assets: my bayonet-class light cruiser, and the custom NPC named Brevis Arserus, but I will gladly accept the loss of theses if it means being allowed to come back.

I know that I will not be unbanned tomorrow, and that my odds of getting unbanned are very thin, but I deeply regret how stupidly I acted, and would really love to eventually come back to this amazing game.

Once again, please accept my deepest apologies to the events who happened. Regarless of how this issue will be managed, please keep doing your amazing work, and do not stop your efforts for enhancing this amazing game. I stay at your entire disposeal for anything you would ask of me.
