- Covet: -Eli was sitting at a booth, He hadn't ordered just yet, having decided to wait until she was there, even though he was pretty sure He knew what she would have ordered. He was looking at his phone sending a message off to his Dad for blowing family dinner off today.-
- Tsaaq: She rolled into the diner, periodically glancing at her cellphone. She turned her head and saw Eli seated at a booth already, she rolled over to him and put her phone on the table. "Hello dear." She greeted, resting her hands in her lap.
- Covet: Good evening, My Love. -He smiled at her as she rolled over.- I haven't ordered yet, I wanted to make sure on what you wanted first. How was your Sunday? -He asked her, with a charming smile-
- Tsaaq: "Pancakes, some apple juice. Clean glass, clean plate. The usual. You know I don't like change." She said, taking a napkin and placing it in her lap because her dress was white. "It was fine. I was on the phone for most of the day." Bliss answered. "How was yours?" She queried.
- Covet: Alright give me just a second and I'll get that ordered up. -He told her, leaning over to give her a kiss on her cheek, as he got up and made his way over to the counter. After he was finished paying and all that he sat abck down- My day was good. I didn't go to dinner with the family today, Just spent the time down in the office working on storyboards and panels. It was productive. Who were you on the phone with?
- Tsaaq: She nodded at Eli and waited for him to return to the booth. "Well productive is good." Bliss commented. "First I was on the phone with Hayley then I spoke with my mother for some time." She said. "It was alright, I didn't have much to do today." Bliss shrugged.
- Covet: Sounds like a relaxed day. How is Hayley doing? And Your Mom? -He asked, checking his phone to see if his Dad has messaged him back at all, then looked back at her, giving her his full attention-
- Tsaaq: "She's fine. I was just asking her about something that I was curious about, catching up a little. The usual." Bliss waved her hand at him. "Mom is doing well too. She's just-" She paused. "I'm not sure how to describe it." She sighed. "It's not a big deal."
- Covet: -Eli listened to her and nodded his head- Fair enough. Glad to hear both of them are doing good. -He tilted his head to the side- Hey, it's big enough to make you feel worried. What's up?
- Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head dismissively. "It's nothing I can do anything about." She told Eli. "And perhaps I'm just overthinking or something. I don't know. So I'd rather just try to mind my business."
- Tsaaq: ((>.>))
- Covet: [Sorry!! Posting now...My bad x.x Fucking drama llamas in RL]
- Covet: -Eli nodded his head- All the same. If you need any advice or just want someone to listen. You know I'm happy to help you figure it out. -He said as their food was set down in front of them-
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips and shrugged. "It's fine." She murmured. "I only care because I don't have anything to keep me busy. I'm convinced that's the only reason."
- Covet: Hmm. Well. Then what can we do to get you focused on something else? I don't like seeing you worried, if you don't have to be. But don't forget, it's your parent. If you have reason to feel concerned, there might be something more there. -he said, taking a bite of his pancakes.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss sighed, carefully slicing into her short stack. "I can't really do much..." She answered quietly. "I just go to physical therapy and then come home and sure I do things but they aren't all that productive." Bliss pouted her lips a moment then started to carefully eat.
- Covet: Hey why the pout? -He said setting down his utensils while he looked at her.- What about the protests we talked about doing? We could still work on that. Focus some energy into that? -He asked her giving her some options.-
- Tsaaq: She kept her head down. "I don't know. That trip to the police station was disheartening." Bliss said. "And I'm not pouting." She muttered, trying to straighten out her face. "What's the point?" She went to chew more of her pancakes.
- Covet: You're breaking my heart here Sunshine. -He said, reaching over to rub her shoulder as he watched her keep her head down- What's going on? Talk to me.
- Tsaaq: Bliss furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. "Nothing changes, everything stays the same. Even if you care a lot about something it doesn't mean you'll make a difference so, I might as well at least take a break."
- Covet: -He took her hand and gave it a squeeze- I know it looks like things are down. And that nothing's changing. But I can garuntee you, that even the biggest influences of change. Have been where you are. -He brought her hand up to his lips and gave them a kiss- I believe in you. I believe that you have the power and determination to make anything happen. I've seen you accomplish so much. And I know you will continue to do so. So where it feels like things are down. It will get better. Don't give up.
- Tsaaq: She sighed a moment and gave him a weak nod. "Thank you, but..." Bliss murmured. "This isn't something I feel confident about talking about at the moment." She said, dabbing her lips once she was done with her pancakes. "I think, um." Bliss murmured. "We should head out shouldn't we?"
- Covet: -He leaned over and pressed a kiss to her temple- I understand. Do you want me to drop you off back at home. Or can I take you back to the apartment with me? -He asked her, feeling bad that she was so down-
- Tsaaq: "I'd rather go back to the apartment with you." Bliss answered, taking her hand sanitizer from her purse and squeezing it into her palm then waiting for Eli to hold our his hands so he could do the same. "Perhaps we can just sleep in tomorrow if that isn't too horrible of a suggestion?"
- Covet: Alright. -Eli did the same with his hands, rubbing the sanitizer in- Not at all. I don't have to be in until later at the shop. We'll turn off our phones and just pretend like the rest of the world doesn't exist for the night. Sound good? -he asked her, getting up, leaving a tip on the table, then started to wheel her out of the cafe to his vehicle.-
- Tsaaq: ((Woop.))
